check to see if the side that is not firing is getting spark . . if no spark then check the compression with a guage . post answers and we'll go on from there .

i have delt with them too and they are good people , i bought a set of 30mm oko's and the jetting wasnt right so i called them and they sent me new needles and jets for free . and helped me with the jetting over the phone .

i would just buy a stock harness , just asking for problems with someone else's rig job . i got my banshee and it had a home made wiring harness on it , every once in a while i wouldnt get spark , i bought a new harness and never had a problem again .

thats not true , i had a 1990 j arm banshee , and i switched the spindles and brakes over to a a arm frame and everything fit perfect . but if i can remeber correctly , the 87 -88 brakes were different , 89 and 90 j arm spindles are the same as the newer a arm frames , if you look in the repair manual it tells you .

the bottom a arms are the same off a j arm , but im not sure about the spindles , i think i heard the front brakes are diffront on the early year banshee's ,

i have a bike and a shee and love them in different ways , nothing beats a bike for the track , jumping , whoops and going fast , brought my shee to the track and it was way to hard on me and i have it all done up , (ohlins fronts , +2+1 arms , pep rear ) but in the sand , hill clibming nothing beats the fun on a quad .

same thing happen to me last year, i woke up to a banging at my door at 3 am , it was the police and my neighbor , a couple kids broke into my wifes car and my neighbor caught one of them and the kid put up a fight and my neighbor punched him and knocked out 5 teeth , so i came out and saw him in the back of the cop car crying with a very bloody mouth , made me feel a little better about the broken window , and he paid for the window he broke . i saw him a couple months later on the street and he is still missing his front teeth . :biggrin:

the a arm frame are different , they have a extra support bar where the back of the a arm bolts to . you would have to add one to your j arm frame . if you need pics let me know. the easiest way is to just buy a a arm frame and swap everything over , you can get a arm frame for a couple hundred bucks and then sell your j arm frame on ebay and recoupe some money back . there is a weld in kit to convert a j arm to a a arm , but im not sure who sells them . i think a guy on here used to sell them , maybe some one remembers his name . i have a straight a arm frame if you need one .

i had offset fronts on my banshee and i didnt like them , they made the front end soft and it didnt turn right , i now have +2 arms and its 100 times better . it just didnt handle good with the offset rims.

i have know idea how they do it , but it looks good , when i first saw it i couldnt even tell it was plastic , i thought it was metal till you tap on it and you can tell it is plastic, i wonder how they get it to not chip because the plastic will flex and you would think it would come right off, but it doesnt .

i have seen plastic chrome plated before , i dont know how they do it but know it is possible . here in new york there are alot of street bikes that are chromed out , i have even seen a gsxr 1000 with its plastic body panels chrome plated and my friend has a honda 954 with a lot of plastic chromed , and it is definitely chrome plated . i have also seen replacement ball joints for stock arms , i know that they are pressed in so maybe they can be changed . if you search banshee ball joints on ebay you will see someone selling them.

you need permission from your wife to do a banshee build , i dont think i would admit that
