  8. without porting, that lockout and cpi inframes are some what pointless. I would say around 47-50 :thumbsup:
  9. i've ran my 421 cub with the timing plate maxed out, also 18cc domes and 50/50 race/pump gas. if that helps
  10. non dunable overrides including the 1-6 require you to be extremely cautious. If you try to downshift and your not at a complete stop, you can pretty much say goodbye to your transmission. And if you let off the throttle and not pull in the clutch can cause trouble. Dunable overrides are spring loaded which keeps the transmission from backloading. You can use a dunable like a regular transmission without the need of worrying about pulling the clutch when the throttle is let off. Use it like a normal tranny and have the ability to shift like an override. Except im not 100% sure about downshifting. Hope that helped answer your questions. :cool:

  13. No. i sent my transmission out for a 1-5 n down dunable about 2 weeks ago to jeff.
  14. Check what size jets are already in there. Im no jetting guru, so someone would be able to help you out a little more :cool:
  15. If you dont rejet. You can be lean or rich. Maybe enough for it to seize or meltdown. Also you will foul alot more plugs. Jetting isnt really hard its just a 15min thing and its something you have to do. Not to be an ass but if its retarded then why did you get a banshee?
  16. you can get a dunable 1-5 from W-C-R for about 380, and the same with jeff at fast. :thumbsup:
  17. if he thinks that a cdi box is a rev limiter then he must also think that there are cams inside the motor as well. :shoothead: And if a banshee can run without it then cdi's wouldnt be so exspensive. :shoothead: :shoothead:
  18. What made me laugh is that everytime they rolled stopped in the middle of a dune they get stuck. Its common sense when your at the dunes :shoothead:. LOL. I was kinda expecting actual quad racers with some half decent 450s and atleast toss in a banshee :woot:

  20. just watched it. It wasnt really that great. i was hoping to see some banshees running up olds hill, but its just a bunch of people thinking theyre fast on a stock trx450. No offense to any one. Btw i didnt know honda came out with a trx450 ER and that there was an osbourn hill at glamis :shoothead: lol.

  22. Not trying to be an ass, but porting shouldnt reduce reliability at all. I would think reliability would come in when you get it bored out alot. I have a drag motor and so far its been very reliable for me. :thumbsup:
  23. I really never liked planetsand and i think i will do any business with charlie ohton, exspecially after hearing how he ripped off that orange crush guy about his drag frame. It was really stupid how he tried to get people to pay for the site. The only reason i go on there is to see when and where the races are for hassayampa and to talk to clown racing about stuff.
  24. and because they have to cut up the cases your probably better off spending some money on some billet cases so you wouldnt have to go through as much machining and taking the reliability out of the stockers.
