  4. Well, I am completely parting out my 421 Cub. I built it in late 2012-ish, broke in the engine, went to Glamis once then parked it for roughly 2.5 years. Life happened, just havent had the time to go riding and have gone into the deep end of track days and slippery slope of constantly throwing money at my car for better lap times. The bike sat out side, and certain parts show damage from sun and weather (rust) and have been priced accordingly. All prices are OBO, buyer pays shipping. Small parts that I have F/S, will be let go for the cost of shipping as indicated. Since there is alot of stuff F/S, I will send more detailed pictures upon buyers request. Engine - From what I remember, the engine ran flawless the last time I rode it 2+ years ago. A few weeks ago the bike would not turn over. A few days ago there was a lot of liquid in the right pipe. The cylinders will need replating due to the damage on the right cylinder. Rod bearings feel fine as well as the crank bearings. The top case has slight chain wack, but nothing major. Transmission operated as it should. 1-5 N down Dunable Override - 250 Crank Cases - 100 39mm Carbs setup for GAS w/ filters - 250 39mm billet manifold - 75 vf3 reeds - 125 Chassis parts - Frame is PC'd Trans Purple and lightened w/ bolt on subframe by Tim at Stellar. Bought the frame from Tim back in '09 and has not been wrecked. There is a spot of PC missing in the front of the frame. Frame is straight and titled, I would prefer local pickup but can ship at buyers expense via grey hound. The J-arms will need ALL ball joints replaced. The Direct Drive spindle mounts will need bearings replaced and need new valve stems. The tires are old, but dont show dry rotting and hold air. The swingarm has a crack behind linkage mounting point and discounted accordingly since it will need to be repaired, or will end up in the trash if nobody wants it. Lightened frame w/ subframe and title; Frame is straight, a small area of pc missing in the front. Cascade chrome "race position" foot peg and billet shifter. 120 shipped Chrome is still in good condition. Due to the foot pegs having a different position than stock, I will not separate shifter from pegs. Also, I wouldnt recommend these for any one that rides in decent sized whoops, unless you dont mind digging your feet through the sand. Will also trade for chrome stock pegs or billet pegs with billet or chrome shifter.

  10. Funny you say that if some one has a 10cub thats beaten up, you're ready to buy. But when you bought a 10 cub with a piston with slight deto, you start all this drama. If your willing to pay money for ANOTHER cub topend, shell out the 25$ for a planetsand membership. You might have better luck there if they arent informed about all your shenanigans.
  11. Daj is right. Youll want a cut trans. We had a hard time shifting at full power in this setup without an override. It wasn't as bad as a 4mm cub but still not very fun. You should try not to skip that while the motor is already apart.
  12. What kind of porting is done? How's the plating? If you decide to part it out, I'd take the cylinders.
