  1. That would be interesting. What are your plans for the motor next?
  2. T3's are old school drag racing pipes. Good luck on the trails with that shit!!
  3. Sounds like a badass little motor. Do you have a dyno plot? It'd be nice to see the power curve. I'm assuming 65whp.
  4. SandSlingerOR, what motor build/mods you running the CPI's on?
  5. You know, you can change your rear hubs to be 4x115. I recommend picking up a set of newer YFZ450R hubs. They're wider... Hit up eBay and search for 2012 hubs.
  6. Damn, I'm half tempted to pickup up a set of PC's and try them out over my T5's. I think my boy is leaning on the SLP's. Let us know how hard those Snipers run on your little 4mil play port.
  7. Hell, I don't know. I'm not in the business of buying used parts usually. I have an idea of what my buddy or I might spend on said pipes, so PM me with a figure if you'd like.
  8. SLP's sound good to me. According to his mod list, the head is decked. To me that means it's been fly cut to increase compression and the squish band and dome profile are left stock. A lot more useable power can be squeezed out of a stock head if it were massaged by say, RB Designs.com or Mull Engineering. 25" tires, GTFO of here with that. You building a tractor or a Banshee? If you want a tractor, sell your Banshee and buy a 4 ...
  9. ^^^ Yup... Pink set-up is sexy as fuck though!
  10. What size motor does your parts guy have, who ported it and what type of porting? Redline 4mil Play Port is exactly what I'm going to build. However, a 4mil 64mm bore motor is 373cc, is this what you mean by 370, or are you talking long rod stock stroke 66mm bore 370? According to Jay, guy Dave bought the Serval from, jetted his motor fat because he likes to night ride Glamis. Temps can swing as much as 40*-50* in Glamis between day and night, and I'm sure it's more drastic in the summer months. So, if you night ride a lot and you don't want to worry about running the bike lean at night, then you end up being jetted fat during the day. This may have been a big reason why Jay was experiencing poor fuel econ. I'm going to build a Redline 4mil Dune Port with all of my current mods. If my riding buddy decides to go with SLP's, I'm gonna have to throw them on and find out how T5's and SLP's compare. And if dave5.0 sells his PC's for a decent price, I may look into those too.
  11. Who cut the domes for that cub? Chasing jetting all over the board and nothing helps usually points to improper squish.
  12. What mods are you running with the SLP's gusto?
  13. Excellent info guys, keep it coming, especially after your weekend with the Serval dave5.0.
  14. Nice, that'll be bitchin!! Be sure and post your results some where.
  15. Nice, PM me your asking price shipped to 94571. Curious, what are your mods and what pipes are you running on your Duner now?
  16. How are the Pro Circuits? What condition are they in and which silencers do you have?
  17. We have a trip planned to Pismo Labor Day weekend. I'm trying to get him to pull the trigger on something so he can have more fun riding the way we do. I'm pulling my T5's for some maintenance, so he can try them out if he wants.
  18. I added Pro Circuit's w/296 Silencers to the poll.
  19. None from me. I'm working on my rear suspension. Just dumped $1200 on a +2 swingarm and a resprung/revalved rear shock.
  20. No thank you, he wants to sell the T3's. He also has billet Cascade pipe clamps, billet Modquad silencer hangers and billet Modquad pipe hangers. Silencers are freshly repacked and have two weekends on them.
  21. Mods: Pods w/outerwears 28mm PWK's Stk Intakes w/crossover VF2's Unknown Porting by Joe Machado from Precision Porting in Stockton, CA 65.25 bore w/Wisecos Pro Design OTS 21cc Domes +4* Timing Toomey T3's Tuning is spot on. Motor is all mid-top. Top ends seems like it pulls forever. The more thumb you give the higher she revs. He's a heavier guy at 250 w/gear on and he wants a little more bottom-end. He likes the top end power, but for the technical dune carving we do it's a lot of work to keep her on the pipe. What's everyone's take on T3's, and would he benefit from making a pipe swap? He likes T5's but I told him everyone says there are better pipes out there. So I mentioned SLP's and DMC's. Bike is strictly a Duner and when she let's go, Redline will build him a fresh bore 4mm Dune Port Stk Cyl or possibly a Driveline motor.
  22. OP, I just reinstalled my Fireball LT front suspension yesterday. Found out some cool stuff about the camber and caster angles as the suspension articulates. I'm very excited to ride her now. First time I installed the a-arms straight up from Fireball, caster was +10*. Now it's set to +6*. Initial camber is -1* now. Today the Fireball +2 swing arm gets installed. If ground clearance is a priority for you, you might want to look at those JD Performance MGC a-arms. I'm pretty serious about suspension and handling.
  23. ^^^ Exactly what I'm going to build after my Labor Day Weekend in Pismo.Does your sig reflect your build?
  24. The pilot seems pretty fat. And why didn't you get the cylinder clean-up ported? I do not understand why a shop would sell you an "as cast" Serval cylinder and leave 10-12whp on the table... Where did you buy this junk? http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/topic/150211-redline-ported-serval/?hl=redline
