  4. i highly recommend dealing with louie at Twistercrankshafts.he did some great work on a set of stock jugs i got on my bike. hope to get a small block twister 10mm from him this summer. i also hear good things about dave moore racing.
  5. nothing wrong with pro circuit pipes. i had a set but sold them bfore i had a chance to try em on my own bike. tried them on a buddy's machine and they seemed to have good bottom pull as well as mid and fairly decent top. of course if you threw a bit more compression and some timing advance at these pipes ,they would probably seem like they had alot more low end. tried gnarlies once accross a parking lot and they seemed to have good bottom end and mid as well(ran out of space before i got a good feel for the top end) either pipe would be a good choice. i'd probably take what ever was cheapest or whatever i could get used at a decent price.
  6. stole this ad from daves site : Drag-lite A-Arms and J-Arms are some of the lightest, safest, best fitting, and most adjustable A-Arms out there. Made from 4130 chrome-moly and hand TIG welded in our shop to ensure quality and fit, these a-arms will allow the rider to set up the caster and camber that he or she is most comfortable with. The Drag-Lite A-Arms use heavy duty 3/8" and 1/2" rod ends, which are commercially available at any major bearing supplier. Currently, the Drag-Lite A-Arms come in only stock length and offset, and are designed to use either stock or after market Drag-Lite spindles. These a-arms are intended for closed course drag racing on stock frame applications. All a-arms come raw . weight of this set is 7 lbs.
  7. time for a canadian BHQ membership drive! theres alot more people here that aren't posting though.
  8. hey , welcome to the BHQ!!! and yes there is a vent at the back of the engine case.probably the source of your leak.
  9. sounds like your float needle is sticking a bit. time for a complete carb cleaning! the needle my just be worn out and won't make a complete seal anymore.
  10. find me a buyer for these J arms and consider your cases sold.
  11. these are from Dave Moore Racing. i think they have a website. these are made to save weight and are recommended for race only. drag strip, sand or dirt drags. not recommended for trail riding. just want to be straight up with ya. thanks!
  12. thanks man! i'd also take a set of undamaged engine cases on trade for the J'arms. i'm also looking for a billet shifter.
  13. got a darn near perfect set of DMR lightweight drag J arms i would trade straight up for a set of undamaged cases. there is a picture of them in the for sale section if anyone is interested.
  14. how do you like them. i guess i own one now as well! thanks joee, much appreciated.
  15. pics of air box and the J's. i'll clean up the air box before i ship it. if theres one thing i hate its a dirty box!
  16. WTF is a "lock out "clutch. is this the same as a "lock-up" system or is it something new on the market?
  17. oh yeah, i also have a k&n pro-flow system including the air box and filter. - $50 plus the ride
  18. DMR light weight drag J-arms - $200 bought these from cam atv and never used them. stock spindles - $40 stock brake calipers -$40 will post some pics later.
  19. hi, i want that gauge. you,ve got a PM.
  20. heres what i run. about 400 ice screws here.this is just a pattern i came up with for running on the lake. snowmobile studs are supposed to hook up really well for straight line drags where theres no turning involved. gonna try a set next year.
  21. could be leaking coolant from one of the cooling jacket plugs between the cylinder and the top of the case. just a suggestion.
  22. i use Ipone synthetic 40:1. seems to do the trick. but i hate the f***ing strawberry smell!
  23. how do you like the power delivery of these pipes. would you describe them as a low to mid range pipe or mostly a mid range pipe? just asking for comparison puposes. alot of people describe the powerband of these pipes differently.
