  1. these look to be the same design as the old ones, just with anodized aluminum silencers. these pipes are way underrated! no need to change them since they are already a great pipe!
  2. it could possibly be the shift linkage adjustment screw. this evil little part can cause all sorts of transmission nightmares. if it shows any signs of wear, replace it. that being said, you're probably going to have pop the cover off the engine and have a look see.
  3. that fella wouldn't be from scotsburn would he? if thats the guy your talking about,i hear he's pretty fast.a buddy of mine used to race against him. i was talking to allan at stones RV last weekend and he knows a few more people that may head out to the pit if there was going to be a few folks heading there. i should be ready to go that weekend unless of course the wife calves!(8.5 months pregnant!) just got the linkage adj. screw in the mail so it'll be together by this weekend.
  4. should post something at one of the dealerships(adventure motors) about a banshee run at the pit in six mile brook. might get a few more people out there. i know theres a few fellas on here from N.B. but thats quite a haul for one day of running. i'm almost ready except for the adjustment screw i'm waiting for. should be here on tuesday. just need to do a bit of jetting and a few other adjustments and i'm good to go.
  5. if you got mikuni tm's or tmx's your pretty much on your own as far as jetting advice goes. i got a set of 35 tmx's and had to figure out the jetting myself.

  16. oh ya, you wouldn't happen to have a spare dowel pin for the cases kicking around some where?also looking for the adjustment screw for the shift linkage shaft(the one that looks like its bent). this is all i need to get the engine back together.
  17. talked to a good friend of mine from maine, that comes up here to the lake in the summer. he says housing values(-2%) and new construction was down this year in the U.S. the only two states where this was an exception was texas and california.
  18. hell ya! sounds like a good plan. where and when were you planning on holding the ride? i still got a bit of work to do to the bike, but it should be ready soon. waiting on a bolt kit(stainless) but it may have to go back together without the fancy bolts!

  20. stock impeller $10 stock carbs, tors removed $40 j arm spindles and calipers $50 stock reed cage w cross-over,intake boots and boysen reeds. $35
  21. yep things get tied up in customs sometimes where we get ass-raped by the taxman. unfortuneately there isn't a dealership anywhere in this country that stocks any amount of parts. everything comes from yamaha in california. that usually takes almost three weeks. good thing we got the HQ! major props to the guys that will do business with us canadians. i for one really appreciate the extra effort it takes!
  22. i got a set of A-arm spindles for sale. they aren't new but are in good condition. if you can't find a new set let me know. they are the ones in the pics i sent you.
  23. chalk up another smok'in good transaction for The "Shee !! everything was clean and in great shape when i received it. thanks dude.
  24. trying to get this engine back together. i need the adjustment screw that goes in the shift linkage. it kinda looks bent but thats the way its supposed to be(for those who don't know). i really need this part in a bad way. can someone help me out?
  25. you could probably have this pulled at a body shop with a "uni-spotter"stud gun and a slide hammer for cheap. if you're going to buy toomeys sometime in the future don't bother fixing them. this dent is probably not affecting your power output much at all.
