  6. amongst my huge pile of parts sitting in my shop that was once a banshee ,is a boss intake. the one w/the internal cross-over. when looking down the bore you can see two intersecting pieces of aluminum that are shaped like a "plus"(+) sign. this is probably there to direct air towards the reeds but to me they look like a waste of space. has anyone ever removed/ground out, this piece from thier boss intake and if so did it have any negative effects on performance. it seems to me that without this thing, alot more air/fuel could flow through. anyone got any thoughts on this?
  7. please define the term " miss". just kidd'in, welcome back!
  8. I'll put my cubeinator up against them anytime! bring em, on! i want a dyno showdown! seriously though, if they did make any power at all, alot of pro racers would be using them. I have a bit of time tinkering with banshee's but most of my two stroke engine experience comes from snowmobile racing engines. (tripple cyl 800cc, 200hp improved stocker) i have never and probably will never see any serious racers out there, who use these things. i used to spend a lot of time and money to find anything that would give me the slightest weight or HP adavantage on my sled. never once were these suggested to me by my builder who is a very reputable and well know one from Essex Junction in Vermont. if they were any good at all they would be on every race sled on the circuit and recomended by every reputable builder. and yes, these things are actually available for sleds! why waste your $200 on these when you can buy a set of race proven pipes, a good porting job, or other proven upgrades. this is in IMO. if ya just got to have them, go get em!
  9. Quote-"Thus, you may feel a seat of the pants performance improvement" I think this is what is refered to as "the placebo effect".
  10. "The Cubinator"! fits in your banshees' stock air box! improves air flow to carbs 300%. going fast at $5000 a unit. get yours now. note: if running pods just put it under the seat,it has the same "turbolike" effect! all sales final!
  11. if they did work at all, theres no way in hell i'd pay what they are asking for them. come to think of it, i got an ice cube tray in my freezer that looks exactly like this product only with more partitions. i think i paid $5 for it.
