  1. As far as parking lot vouchers go, better get there a day before you plan on riding and sit in line at 9p.m. the night before. THE BEST THING ABOUT RIDING IN THE DUNES IS WAITING IN LINE---NOT..
  2. Was supposed to go that weekend but going there the following weekend. When you're at Sierra sands look at the pavement in back. Opening weekend some drunk guy thought he could pull my buddies duramax 3/4 ton around the parking lot with his F-150 . It was pretty humorus.
  3. I use the red honda 85 wt oil. Haven't toasted or adjusted the clutch for a while now
  4. Just had it done last month by boonman--definately a good mod. Gets to the powerband alot quicker. I didn't notice any drawbacks at all.
  5. Took my shee 3 years ago to us 41 in Indiana and top speed was 82.8on one run and 84.1 on the other. Sprockets were 15-41, 20" tires, 19cc domes, single carb, pipes and etc.. Have a 16 tooth for next time I go
  6. I have a single carb with the same mods except no port work and i have a lightened flywheel. I guarantee you will like the shee even more wiht the single carb. Power will come on very early.
  7. I also went to the hardware store and bought heavy duty springs--works good
  8. Try one size smaller on the main jet and see if that helps and if it is better work your way down. Alot of my buddies are at 178 to 190--190 with port work at 500 above sea level. When i bought my shee it was 5 sizes down on the main jet-165 and had to have the choke on for it to run right--i rejetted that day and have had the same main jet (178)in for 4 years--you will know when its right and do a few plug checks. I'm sure someone else will chime in on helping you out---I'm no jetting expert. Good luck.
  9. I just tried the engine ice myself. Buddies 450 with a temp gauge said his runs 10-15 degrees cooler See how hot shee gets in the summer.
  10. Will be there all weekend and cant wait--still have a good time if it rains
  11. I just got the cascade one and will be trying out later on--its HUGE and looks like it will work good. I will post back
  12. have a single carb--never messed with duals-start high and work down--
  13. Good all around pipe---have had mine for 3 years. I had to buy the turbinecores also and noticed that they are a hair longer than my grab bar(after i dented the end cap). Put a six pack rack on to prevent them from hitting ground when riding out a wheelie. Had powercore silencers and noticed they are few inches shorter.
  14. have no clue what ttt means--but i did book my reservation over the weekend for a room. Now polish my shit up and count the days away
  15. i would tell them politely that you want to return the stuff. I have had pretty good luck with them on returnig stuff. I talked to a lady in customer service about my problems ( dont know her name) Good luck
  16. hey let me know whats up with bumper I will pick it up. Thanks Steve
  17. buddy selling a 96 600 indy triple for $280. He wrecked the rear of the sled--track sits a little sideways and one rear side is smashed against the seat. front end is in good shape and motor only has 2400 miles on it. IS it worth buying and parting out--does anyone know of any good sites like the HQ where there will be people looking for parts besides ebay. Thanks again--will be looking at it tommorrow and will post pics if i get it this weekend.
  18. Used to do HVAC---Now I'm a spa tech--been working on hot tubs for the Great Escape out of Chicagoland for 3 1/2 years. Hint--if you own a spa clean the filter once a month so I dont have to see a jizzed up filter
  19. Thanks for the advise--- i called a few shops and they all agreed. I have my auto body guy coming over to see if he can help me out. I measured it and the axle is 4 inches ahead of the center point of the trailer. I will write back when i get it done--thanks for the help
  20. I haVE only 3 stock arms off my 2000--let me know if you want pics--will sell cheap
  21. Its a no name utility trailer that you would see landscapers using. I put 2 quads (polaris in the front and shee in the middle)sideways and have about 30 inches of free space on the back of the trailer. It trailers ok but put 4 extra atv tires and a cooler in back and it starts to sway. Seems that you cant really put any amount of weight or any in the back of the two quads. Thats my reasoning for maybe moving the axles back a little. It sits level behind my truck also. Thanks
  22. My trailer is a 6 x 10 utility trailer that i haul stuff and quads with all year long.--I have the wood planks off(redoing the wood and painting it with POR15 paint) and was wondering if anyone has ever the same problem--going 70 + mph the trailer will start to sway behind my pickup--99 extended full size. It sways horrible behind a blazer or jeep i think due to their short wheel base. would moving the axle back 6-8 inches help with this problem. The axle pretty much sits almost right in the middle of the trailer--on my bass tracker trailer the axle is way in the back and trailers nice. I f anyone has done this or knows what i am talking about some advise would be great. Thanks
  23. I have the same rack--i put a 5 foot pipe throught it and bent it by putting my weight on the pipe. Check for cracks at the rear of the subframe also---mine had 2 cracks by the voltage regulator welds area
  24. glad you got it fixed--i would replaced the fixtures next time something happens--they are a piece of shit
