Check and see if your throttle cable is not stuck on the frame under the gas tank when I put my new carbs on that is what happend and one of the cables got stretched just enough to hold the slide opened a little and also check and make sure you synked the carbs the same.

My hot rod crank has ck158b stamp on the rods and it's a 4mm stroker 5mm longrod it also has hr204 stamped on the crank webs.My pistons are about 1/8 of an inch above the cylinders without a spacer plate. Hope this helps :thumbsup:

All banshees leak gas out of the carbs I turn the petcock off afer I get done rigging and it is no big deal. :smile:

I agree that is low did you make sure the threads on the compression tester was all the way down in the head if not that will give you a false reading if so you may need to rering it. :ohmy:

Make sure you unhooked the black box under the left front side of your bike (when your sitting on the bike) and the throttle control switch on the handle bars under the throttle cover with out this the bike will not idle. Thanks for joining the HQ :beer:

Thanks for all the replys I run a boost bottle on mine and I have no plans of taking it off and I do agree it serves as no purpose but looks and it is no problem to take off to work around....

Yes the screw was in the way of the flywheel so I took it off and took the screw out and zippy tied the wires away from the flyweel through the hole the screw came out of and it was good to go. :thumbsup:

Hey guys I got friend that got his bike back from a local shop and they told him the trick is to block the intake holes off are they full of it or is it just for drag racing I never heard of that before or maybe they want him to tear it up and bring it back to them,

Mine made a ticking noise out of the stator cover when I put my adjustable stator plate on and all it was the screw holding the wires away from the flywheel was rubbing the flywheel I didn't see this in your list of mods so I hope this helps

Hello 8 ball glad to see another missouri rider on the hq. It's hard to find a good banshee from around our area and it's even harder to find one thats under 3 grand I had to drive to carbondale IL to find mine because it was the only one left out of 6 I called about so if you find one thats in good condition for under 3 grand you better buy it good luck and when you buy one send a shout out on the hq and we will go riding at st joe!!!! :beer:

I put 2 bolts in the clutch housing so my brother could hold it with a screw driver or if you have a old clutch set drill and bolt a steel and friction plate together to lock the primary gears together but make sure the bolts are long enough to pull the plates out when you put them in. :beer:

I was in the same boat you are in 6 months ago and my 2 choices were bandits and knarlys,I bought the bandits because they were more of a all terain and the fact that they were cheaper I can't complain with the bandits but they are a softer compound than the kendas so if you send alot of time on pavement they will wear out faster my cousin has kenda klaws and they are good to. the knarlys the xc means more plys I think you can't go wrong with both so its up to your wallet. :biggrin: :beer:

I like the pure sport bandits they hook up great on hard pack and mud pretty good on the steet and I run 20x 11x 9s I like them over kenda dominators and hole shots and they are cheaper!!! :biggrin:

125 is low but all heads are different so if you want more compression have it shaved again but I wouldn't tear it down until it gets below 100 psi or until you blow the bottom end out because you put too much compression on top thats what I did it was the best mistake I ever made!!! :biggrin:
