  3. The nut your talking about is to give you a little more adjustment. If you turn it counter clockwise it will give you more adjustment. Look at chapter 6 in the clymer,Hope this helps
  4. There's no dought that engine is going to pull your arms off... But it depends on the gearing but it's goin to have a lot of low end to, it depends on what kind of port job you get to know how much. One thing for sure it's going to be a blast to ride!!!!!!!
  5. I wouldn't take a chance, tear it apart it will save you money. :: I tore my bike down because I was swapping pipes and there was white slugey looking hand cleaner in my cylinders found out it was a case seal between the crank /tranny. :shoothead: Good luck

  13. I 'd start with turning the air screws another 1/2 turn if thats not it try switching pilots... I had that same problem I got the v Force3's and it helped alot (my .2 cents)
  14. I didn't mean the 330 main was the fix to your problem it's just a starting point. You have to jet it rich so you don't melt it down. :: If the 280's are rich you've got your starting point good luck....
  15. I would start by saying you need a warm motor for tuning, but with a stock engine (you don't have any mods listed) I'd start with a 330 main jet, 25 pilot .....
  16. I'll vote for the v Force ......
  17. If you're talking the pilot air screw turn it 1to 2 turns out....
  18. I think you'll be better with 34S
  19. Do a leak down test.....
  20. Try locktite >.....
  21. Sounds like carb troubles check your air screws/could be wrong pilot jets.....
  22. I don't think it's worth 40 bucks you can put a big enough pan under the front motor and pop the hose off and it's no big deal save the 40 bucs for fuel and tear it up!!!!!
  23. Dude what made you decide on a single carb setup, the 34 mm might be a little small!!!
  24. You have to read the plugs and yes 4180 ft is olot of change!!!!
  25. It happens to the best of us I know I"m not the smartest guy in the world either!!!!! :shoothead:
