  2. The auto parts stores sell different sizes of rubber hose that might work or you can buy the pod filters...
  3. Start the bike let it idle spray starting fluid on the carbs and the boots!!!!
  4. I would say you need at least a set of 28mm carbs depends on the port job!!!
  5. No it would have to be a head gasket if the coolant was in the cylinder!!!
  6. No it would have to be a head gasket if the coolant was in the cylinder!!!
  7. Get a clymer the pictures are very very helpful!!!
  8. The boost bottle is supposed to give the engine a fresh boost of mixed air / fuel but I can't see a differace between the bottle and the balance pipe so it's a personal opinion issue!!! The head question the domes depend on your elevation on which cc to use the higher in elevation you are the smaller cc's you can use thats the rule of thumb!!!
  9. No big deal!!!
  10. I was reffering to his question about the spacers not the reeds, the v vorce are the best reeds you can buy!!!
  11. No you don't need orings just a metal gasket!!!
  12. I use v force and I just put them in I didn't modify nothing and they perform great and I use spacers but they give me clearance for my carbs thats all I care about my opinion is thats all they do they don't give no horse power or throttle responce. since you have 1 carb setup I wouldn't use the spacers my.02 cents
  13. Thanks for joining the HQ but to answer your question you could try to sycrinze your carbs and you might have to clean the carbs because the float maybe sticking causing the cylinder to be running to rich causing it to throw fuel out of the exhaust!!!!
  14. When I start setting my carbs I turn 1-1/2 then ride and see what the throttle is like if it's bogging from first to half I back them out a half a turn till I'm satisfied!!!!
  15. When I tear it down I always buy new orings you already have it tor down you might as well!!!!! my .02 cents
  16. Get you a clymer but all you have to do is drain the tranny oil remove the clutch cover/coolant cover pritty much it pull the pin/washer check impeller bearing slide out old slid in new !!!nothing to it really hope it helps
  17. Thats exactly what I was going to say, mine sheared when I built the motor, wouldn't stay running when my cousin pulled me just popped and back fired good luck

  19. Would you take $2.00 your money back :yelrotflmao: Maybe a little profit
  20. Cool down bro I meant that my pistons maybe stamped wrong I'm just trying to help you figure it out and all I can do is tell you what I've experinced when I built my stroker but I can tell you that your crank is the same as mine and if you don't have to cut your domes thats good for you !!!!
  21. That makes no sence to me if your running the same crank and the same pistons that I'm using then the pistons have to be above the cylinders because the 795 series pistons just allows for the longrod and the domes have to be cut for the 4mm stroke.I'm confused to bro maybe the pistons are stamped wrong. :shoothead:
  22. What is your piston height?
  23. Yes I'm running 795 series pistons your crank is 4mm 5mm longrod
  24. I put the powerlid on to and I could see a big differance in throttle responce but know I had to put bigger carbs on because I stroked it the reed spacers make it harder to work on I 'm going to pods just got to watch the mud holes :shoothead:
