  1. I just put mine on it fits great no washers!!!
  2. The spacer plate is for the stroke not the rod length, the spacer plate could leak and blow your motor so I would have your cylinders ported for the sroker crank as for the long rods I've heard that they make your motor more reliable but I know that they give more power but you have to use the 795 series wiesco pistons for the long rods and that you need the domes in the head cut.
  3. Thats what I was going to tell you they make great boat anchors :yelrotflmao:
  4. I'm running the wiesco 795's for my 4mm strocker longrod and I still had to cut the domes.
  5. Brady all banshees are awsome the only thing diffrent between some models is wheel hubs/electric connections/j arms and maybe some other small things but most parts will fit reguardless of year models so my advice to you is find the best deal on a bike that you like and modify it the way you want and if you need help you have the hq.
  6. Looking for a blue anodized vitos hemi head with or without domes
  7. I used chain saw fuel line on my vents it works great!!!!
  8. Thanks for the replys I'm going to buy the shearer's and buy a set of 20cc domes when I save up enough benjamins  Thanks guys see you on the sand
  9. I'm running a hot rods 4mm stroke 115mm long rod, sorry for the confusion, the gauge is brand new , like I said it's the first banshee I've ever built so when I got all back together I was expecting 140 or 150 on compression so I went and got a friends gauge and it was with in 2 or 3 psi so I check it again and it was the same,I did the research and I don't want just a drag bike I want a all around bike to have a blast on in the sand ,in the trails at st joe.I know from what you guys told me last spring that I didn't need a cub for my riding style so I took the advice' the bike runs better than what I was expecting ,the only thing is the oil coming out of the exhaust thats why I'm looking for drag pipes? The domes must be stamped wrong. What domes do you recommend for 155 or 160 psi. Thanks for the replies I'm just dumb ole hillbilly that needs all the help I can get and I'm at the wright place the hq is awsome!!!
  10. The domes are used they don't look that bad but I want to know if any ding at all will affect hp.could anyone tell me how to measure the domes. Thanks
  11. I think my domes are stamped wrong and they have little dings on them is this a big problem.
  12. I 'm thankful for the reply and I won't take nothing the wrong way, how do you measure the domes, and 1 more ? The domes have some dings on them will it hurt performance? thanks
  13. I bought the whole topend off of ebay and all I know is that the cylinders have a mx port job and have been polished.
  14. Both domes have 24 stamped on them so I'm sure thats what it means, the guy I bought the head from said they were 24cc big bore domes but he maybe wrong. This is the first banshee I've ever built as for the fuel my compresion is 170 psi on both cylinders and vito's states plainly that they don't recommend going past 170.
  15. I try to get up that way 5 or 6 times a year, it's a fun place to ride. I hope the next time I go up there they smooth some of the whoops out!!!
  16. I ride some trails but mainly drag race
  17. I bought my 03 in 04 and my first mod was pipes and it was like flipping a light switch it was like it was another bike, all you need to do is jet and tune the carbs and your ready to go.
  18. Hi guys I would like to know what pipes would work best for my mods.I'm running stock cylinders that have been bored 66mm and have been ported for a 4mm stroker crank .The crank is a hot rods 4mm 5mm long rod ,the pistons are wiseco pro lites ,reeds v force 3s ,vito's hemi head 24cc domes ,ricky stator 4+ timing advance, vito's water impeller,34mm mikuni carbs 390 mains 30 pilots clip in the 3rd position, tors removed,I 'm running 110 race gas 32:1,I 've been running pro curcuits.I want to run in frames if that makes a differance.I would like to know my hp but there 's not a dyno around so if someone could get me close I would appriciate it,I 'm thinking around 65 or so.Thanks for the help man27
  19. The pro design oring kit will work for the vito hemi head you don't use the orings for the studs use the brass washers and your on your way to throw some roost.
  20. I'm running 66mm pistons 4mm- 5mm long rod 24cc domes vitos hemi head and I got a mild port job and my pro's run great, I put some toomey t5s on and it sounded alot better but I felt the power was better with the pro's
  21. Thanks guys I took the plastic and the tank off to retork the jugs and I found my throttle cable was hung on the frame under the gas tank I gave it some slack and put it together and it runs great,I thought it had power before,I can't wait until I can hold it wide open there is nothing like a banshee THANK GUYS
