  1. You couldnt handle it, little man.
  2. How bout half off all cp cylinders, vforce reed cages and replacement petals
  3. If you want to use oem cylinders, i suggest a good port job on as standard of a size bore as you can find. I wouldnt waste time with big bore sleeves in an oem cylinder. They take volume away from the transfer area. I would go aftermarket cylinder. I dont know about the vitos but the cp cylinders have proven themselves.
  4. The easiest way would be to measure from centerline of the crank to centerline of the rod pin on big end of connecting rod. Should be 29mm. X 2 gets you 58. Stock would be 27mm.
  5. There's a group of certified mechanics lurking around barbourville, ky that will make your shit run faster. Do a search for them. They repeatedly told me that you could take a long rod stock stroke crank, add stock banshee pistons to it and you have yourself a homemade 4mill setup. I didnt listen to them and all my shit is slow and i am sure thats only one of their secrets.
  6. I just add a little mineral water. Does the same thing, slows down combustion.
  7. i have a magnum clutch basket in both my bikes. one has about 4 seasons on it and still no problems. the magnum comes with all mounting hardware and cushions.
  8. +1 on a longer swing arm. My play bike is set up similar with a few exceptions and it was pretty squirrely with the stock swingarm on it. Got a deal on a +6. It will still wheelie but its more controled. Ditch the air box and stock carbs.
  9. I dont use gaskets more than once either. I much prefer using a noss head on my bikes as opposed to a modified stocker. I also think any "average joe" should consider breaking their bike down a bit further to have the crank welded as more compression will definately put more stress on the crank. Separation can occur and its not pretty when it happens. Lol
  10. what other parts do you have with "signs of tits" on them? can you still get the prowedge 2's? i need a new set but i want them mounted on 10" wide wheels.
  11. mine do the same.......just the nature of the beast from what i was told. the performance speaks for it self though.... there is a trick, you have to do some cussing while installing them. at least that's what i did.
  12. i shaved my head back in 08'. i wished i had done it sooner. i have saved a lot of money not buying shampoo and no more helmet hair.
  13. if you are looking to upgrade, i know the 06' and later models (ones with the smaller reservoir) are different and have better stopping power than the banshee master cyl.
  14. the stock, oem steels are supposed to be installed staggard. i believe its like.......30deg each one? the star should slide off your shiftdrum with the screw removed. may have to coax it a little bit.
  15. i agree, my f.a.s.t. motors run friggin great. sometimes a mother fucker just needs to get away from work everynow and then because there is life outside of the office/shop. i sure enjoyed the shit outta myself last weekend! first real time off i've had since last october. hope you enjoy yourself!
  16. so is this an official hq douche list? why dont you add this fine outstanding young man right here to the list.......... http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=125060&st=0 couple of outstanding, intellegent friends that he has too............
  17. only if they are needed to space the carburetor on the left side of the engine to clear the clutch actuator. what kind of 421, cub or twister?
  18. the previous numbnut owner of the motor that is in my current playbike and several of his numbnut friends and numbnut mechanic buddies repeatedly told me it was a 4mill so that's what it is.....
  19. a larger carb has a lower velocity (speed of air comming into the engine) where as a smaller carb will have a higher velocity at lower rpms.
  20. rear axle ring nut M33 x 1.5
  21. what kind of override? you mentioned you "rocked it in 6th." you either have a full override which means you have to come to a complete stop to downshift or you have a manual 5th and 6th gear which means you can only bang the gears 1~4 then clutch it to get into the upper gears. this may be the reason it hung up after 4th? pull the clutch cover and check the adjustment on your shift shaft and also see if it is bent before you split the cases. i havent operated on a manual 5~6 override but i do have a 1~5 duneable in (2) of my bikes and had problems shifting on one of them due to a bent shift shaft. when you had it running, did it make any odd noises?
  22. 0.25~0.75mm (0.0098~0.0295 in)
  23. someone ought to pin this. yes, the crank webs where the rod is attached to the crank dictates the length of piston travel, not the length of the rod.
  24. it's funner to just dump it and hold on for dear life though.
