  1. I'd get the banshee. Put some suspension, pipes, air filter and put some good tires on it and you would have one hell of a quad. You could almost do all that for the price of one of the new raptors or 450's.
  2. I second that. Those electric teef brushes are the shiznit.
  3. If thats the case, I would be looking for a lean condition on that cylinder. I would think that both carbs need to be jetted and tuned the same. Hence the need for carburetor syncronization.
  4. Happy birthday.
  5. What kind of intake? Do you know what size mains are in it now?
  6. I'd go so far as to maybe some 320's or 330's. Those K&N pods are gonna flow a heck of a lot more air than the stock filter. How you diggin that banshee so far?
  7. Yessir. Same shit here. When I tore my shit down, reciently, the jugs, piston crowns and the rest of that shit looked good. No signs of running lean, maybe a tad rich.
  8. Welcome to the BHQ. If you can build cars, I seriously doubt that you will have any trouble workin' on your banshee. Good lookin' bike BTW.
  9. Happy birthday, fella.
  10. Got my Vance & Hines cruizers on and god damn. It sounds like a real motorcycle now. Sounds very comparable to all the harleys that were riding around on the coast this past weekend. Chrome looks good on em too and way too easy to put on. Just a heads up, Dog. I've heard the same thing about the cobra products. They are lackin' lots in the quality department.
  11. Sorry to hear about your friend. Hope he pulls through soon.
  12. CPIs. I see you were selling fattys in the for sale forum. CPIS will wake your bike up, considerably with stock porting and they should kick ass once you decide to mod your bike out some more. .
  13. happy birthday, fella.
  14. Sir, yes sir! Stay true to those engineer roots. jk Word! Welcome to the BHQ.
  15. Post up some pics. I'd like to see what it looks like.
  16. Hey Dog, go to www.scootworks.com. They have all kinds of aftermarket stuff. Pipes, windshields, lights, handlebars..........you name it. Yeah I hear ya. The fella at the dealer told me to wait till the suggested 600 mile period before I started screwin with it. I orderd some vance & hines cruizers. I'll definately let you know what they sound like if your interested. And yea, they were definately cheaper than banshee pipes. lol
  17. I dont know about the engine specs, but mine is definately chain driven. Thats funny that you mention that. I was kinda leanin twards a bike like yours. It was a dark purple, blue color. I've got some pipes on the way. Should be here sometime next week. Im curious as to how it will sound. You have anything planned for yours? Pipes, lights....aftermarket stuff? The seat on mine isnt too comfortable on long trips so it may be the next thing to go.
  18. Thats funny. Dog, your bike is kinda similar to the one I just got. I got the spirit 750. I call it a hardly a davidson. lol It isnt much but it gets 50mpg and is fun as hell to ride.
  19. Is that what the movie is about, god and jesus and religious stuff? How bout that queer cowboy movie, brokeback bareback mountain or some shit. Wtf was the big deal with that flick? Damn *****get cowboys. Edit: you cant type *****get?
  20. Man, that's a little good news. Hope like hell you get your 'shee back in one piece. Being rough on em is an understatement. Shit man, if you could get in there and take their knee caps out, but they really deserve worse. Good luck, man.
  21. So, you're all over the god damn place. lol Back before the co. I worked for went bankrupt, they had 2 small planes. A leer and a beachcraft prop job and they used to send us all over the place. That's cool man. I think im about 30 y/o and Im the youngest here, I think by 20 years. lol. We had an electrical engineer, that guy was a complete and utter asshole. Still is as a matter of fact. I think he prolly 50 or so. Do any of your "fellow engineers" frown upon you riding your motorcycle? Do you ride it to the office? I've caught all kinds of hell from fellas here.
  22. PTT, you must be a structural/civil guy. You can almost spot an engineer from a mile away. A lot of the older ones that I have worked with are headstrong as hell. They think they are god's gift in some aspects. Most of the youger guys that I have worked with are cool as shit tho. I assume you have an office somewheres. I do drafting and design work for a couple of engineering firms. Actually, I wouldnt call them firms. One is a side job with some guys that I used to work with that branched off and formed their own company. The money is good in the engineering and construction business from what I have seen.
  23. What kind of port job did you get? As in......trail port, mx port, dune port, drag port...?
  24. The trick here is to stay on it. Do not get off and do it today. And the cliff must be thousands of feet high. Cause ya'll know, that rancher is a huge turd and needs a good drop to pick up decent speed.
