I hope he took a vacation. That boy needs a vacation bad. Last time I heard from him, bout 2 weeks or so ago, that sun of a gun seemed bad stressed out from all the work he's got piled up. Pro flow intake system. Clamp on K&N or Foam filter kit, should be #1 on your list. The stock air filter assembly is junk. Then a good set of pipes and so on. Once you start adding stuff to your ride, it's hard to stop. Main thing is have fun. Welcome to the BHQ. :beer:

I'd go with the yellow and black 50th anniversary edition, that is, if you can find one. There's lots of black and blue banshees.

Stock cable should be fine as long as its in good condition. If its frayed any, now would be a good time to chunk it for a new one before you put it back together. :thumb:

Congrats to that AND your new banshee. Welcome to the BHQ. Pipes and either K&N pod air filters or a Pro flow clamp on setup. Stock air filter is a piece of junk. If you wanna look good, there is all kinds of shiney, billet, chrome add ons that you can buy. :beer:

What is the elevation where you are riding? That plays a big factor. The closer to sea level that you are the richer you need to be on your jetting. You said you have vito's needles in there. Those will definately make it richer than the stockers. And yes it will shoot oil out of your pipes if you are rich. My bike did it when I first got it and I fixed that through jetting. You can do a leak down test on the engine. YOu have to take your carbs and pipes off and plug the intakes and exhaust ports well. Stick a gauge in there and, I think you put 5psi and let it sit for 5 minutes. If it drops a lb or more per minute you have bad crank seals. Keep an eye on the oil level in your tranny. :beer:

How does it run? Have you done a compression test? What clip are your needles set at? When you move the air screws out, it should lean your idle setting.

You should be good to go with some new pivot bearings and axle bearings and seals. And grease everything up good before you put it back togeather. :beer:

I have my warrior and my banshee. I've got a tandem axle trailer. I'd be meeting you somewheres on the highway and following you on the way in there. Most definately man, but I hadn't a freakin' clue as to when my bike will be put back togeather. Still waiting on parts from Jeff. Lol. That guy is busier than a cat coverin up shit. My G/f said she down for one them Little Sahara trips like ya'll did back in March that is if ya'll do something like that again, maybe we could tag along? :baseball_innocent:
