  1. You can take the tires off and push it up in there. That's a lot of work though.
  2. Run it. I've put a full (2) quarts in mines before and didnt have any troubles. I'm not saying its okay for everyone to do. Everyone's bike is different.
  3. Is yours drag ported?
  4. Shearers for sure. I can drag, hillshoot and dune with mine. And putt putt around too. The fitment of the stingers around the airfilters is awesome too. Way better than the CPI's. Here's what they look like on my bike.
  5. That's the kinda boost bottle I'd have. Lol Nice.
  6. Post a pic up here. Let me see it. The valve, that is. Edit.....Im sorry. didnt realisze that was 10 days ago. Anyhoo, you got it fixed yet? :geek:
  7. I still gotta argue with ya on that one. Its either more or less oil. More fuel to part oil and its rich on fuel. Its the fuel that starts the ingition in the combustion chamber, not the oil. The oil is in there as a lubricant. Thats why you have to re-adjust your jetting when you make large changes to your oil/fuel mixture. Right? The more oil you put in your mixture, the less fuel you have making it lean. We are talking fuel:oil mixing ratios not air:fuel/oil . Rich = lots of fuel (wealthy). Lean = not enough fuel (low fat) less oil = not enough lubrication (boom). Lots of oil = plenty lubrication (smokes like hell). If the way I see it is wrong, help me see it your way.
  8. Are you sure about that? I thought a 40:1 ratio was richer than say 24:1, meaning more fuel. I run a 32:1 in mine. Always have and it smokes a little bit. Idiots are always telling me that I need new rings and that im burning oil. Lol Find a ratio you like and stick to it. I use the maxima mixing container. It has a screw on lid. Comes in handy keeps the dirt out of the container. Changing the clutch fibers out is easy. Loosen the spring retainer screws a little at a time till they all come out. Soak your new fibers and then reinstall. Put the screws back in the same way. DOnt crank down on em too hard as they are easy to break off in the clutch boss.
  9. Anyone have it yet?
  10. Since this appears to be a rebuilt top end, did you do a leak down test on it before you started running it? You could have had an air leak on the side that siezed. Did you check your plugs any before it blew up? Jetting sounds okay but, all bikes are different.
  11. If you part it out? Any chance you parting out the engine? I'm interested in the cylinders. How much? Thanks.
  12. If he doesnt have electricity yet, I hope he gets it soon. Along with everyone else that has been effected by the ice storm.
  13. That's a sweet frame for sure.
  14. I have one on my 700 raptor and I had one on my banshee. I have not had any problems with them. Very good axle for the money and like others have said, you get a limited lifetime warrenty with them.
  15. You saw that? That's some sick crap (pun intended) Lol. :yucky:
  16. Just a long shot but, there is a ground wire up around the reverse selector switch, lever dealy. Check that out and clean it up. I had that problem with mine and i also had a wire ground out near the steering stem. Check out all your wiring around the frame.
  17. FBT'S rule! Power outages suck royally, and are even worse when your water goes out too. Here's hoping for a bit of a thaw before santa comes around.
  18. That is pure fact. I used yamahlube 4R (10w50) in the warrior I had. It had supertrapp ids2 slip on, K&N intake and a dynojet kit. It was an okay bike. Dont remember what stock gearing is other than I know it has a 13th up front. And I think the air screw on the bottom of the carb was like 1-1.5 turns from seated. That was with the jet kit tho.
  19. Yeah, you have to drain your coolant and tranny fluid first. Take all your existing springs out, like previously said. Then put the new ones in. Trick is getting the new ones in and torquing them down evenly without shearing the bolts out in the clutch boss. Dont let what I just type scare ya. Lol is not bad. Just tighten them down a little bit at a time till you get them at the recommended torque.
  20. Thanks Travis. Was a pleasure doing business with ya! Dave
  21. Where are you located?
  22. That shitty job you were telling me about? :yucky: You get your shit fixed? They should make some fragrance that smells like your cooking a fat juicy steak in your cylinders.
  23. From my experience with the 6 ply fast trekkers they are kinda heavy also. The 18X11X10's that I had weighed a hair over 18lbs a piece. I got them from nebraskatire.com. Not sure what they have left in stock tho. What about the new gncc holeshots?
  24. I have the dune edition and I agree. Much more better than stock.
  25. Do you do the little debbie ho ho's and oatmeal cremes the same way? Haha, I still have some of that stuff left. Has the shee smellin all like grape candy. The reactions of folks smelling it and asking me why my 4 wheeler smells like grapes is priceless. :yelrotflmao:
