  1. DO NOT SELL THOSE JUGS ON HERE. Thank you.
  2. Jumped back in pretty hard. How do you like that faux ostrich seat cover? It looks nice and seems grippy when I touch it. I was gonna do carbon fabric, but really been thinking about that ostrich stuff.
  3. http://james-camerons-avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Unobtanium Also due to it's conductive properties when spinning, it eliminates the need for a stator/flywheel. Just float the pick up coil under the basket and mount two trigger points to the basket.
  4. What ever happened to the unobtanium? Wasn't there quite the buzz about it. Only problem I see is cost due to it's rare nature and the fact that only a few people have the tooling required to machine it.
  5. < this guy is doing a 10mm small block. There's not many folks still messing with them around here.
  6. Marshall, Sudco, PJ Motorsports.
  7. Not to mention that he posted the opposite effect on the conductive theory. Yes steel takes longer to heat up then aluminum, but it also holds more heat and will take longer to cool then aluminum. Classic case of a well read individual who just isn't quite comprehending what they are reading. Then it gets regurgitated here.
  8. My guess.... He figured it out
  9. ^ that's extreme alright. Why is it that rat rods are cool, and shit like that is just crusty shit?
  10. ^ picking the middle ground in between......... Fucking liberals!
  11. White tank/carbon rad shrouds in first pic. Are they still around, and how much.
  12. If you are serious about nerf bars, I will get you money up front to help with getting the project started. I'm desperate for something like the AC pro peg that had the stainless Peg and aluminum heel plate. I'd love something new before Ice season. Was looking at the XFR stuff but I love local business.
  13. Broke out the shovel today......
  14. ASSHOLE! Hahaha, I was looking for that for about an hour like a month ago. I knew I wasn't crazy.
  15. ^ that would still be light.
  16. ^ waiting to see those results as well.
  17. Ya, not as expensive as when I last looked. But there is no way to keep that thing oiled. So the basket might last, but your clutches will glaze faster.
  18. Coming from the transmission industry I know for a FACT that Hard Annodizing is tougher. I have spent lots of time with coatings, tempering, and finishing. No I won't back your statement. Also, it seems that the only reading I've seen on steel baskets is comparing them to the early Un hardened Mattoon baskets. Why not proven baskets like the PE/Magnum? Also, do the steel ones have oil grooves/passages to help cool the clutch? And 2 pounds will make a difference for you. Although in a good way for your riding so that I can get behind. The inertia will keep that bike coming out of the tight stuff better. That is about the only benefit. Price wise for those steel baskets is rediculous. Yeah, it'll probably last, but it may expose some other issues.
  19. Problem solved. The solder on the stator plate side of the ground wire was bogus. Snip, Slip, Crimp..... Then solder and heat shrink.
  20. X 10 on the 450 calipers. Do the master to. Lots more progression. I would suggest a -2 swinger as well for the woods. Lock up and lighter clutch springs, ASV Levers, get the pegs where your body wants them, shift mods, handle bars and maybe a riser/stem, brake and shift levers modified. All that type of stuff adds up for a much more ridable bike.
  21. ^ that is a good idea. Keeps the legit folks riding and they make some money on a dead operation area. Great for both sides.
