  1. The later of the two would probably sound awesome. Is there much rod difference in rod size when you get over the 10mm stuff?
  2. Sounds a bit like a hesitation when you first whacked the throttle. You're gettin 'er. That's close, but might need a touch more adjusting. Give it an easy ride and check the plugs both before and after with just lugging it on the pilot. Is that stock airbox equipped with a lid and snorkel? And what filter, and has the filter recently been serviced?
  3. Nice tidbit of knowledge. In my experience, rich bikes kick easily. It takes a lot of pilot or electrical issue IMO to really flood a motor.
  4. Havnt seen him lately
  5. Actually I was tired of beating my dick senseless by week 2 or 3. I already had a severe porn addiction before the bum leg. Weird, my chick watches just as much porn so she's got no problem with it as long as she gets dick when were in bed together.
  6. What ever happened to faith?
  7. I love this move! Classic. Simply put neither side likes on another. Therefore it becomes a bitch fest. Usually/statistically it's the weaker of the two to escelate the situation with extreme talk like ^. That way when your face for some unfortunate reason seems to not get hit, you can waltz around and blab about how you made that bitch scared. Ultimately karma will catch you. Quite literally it has already in my opinion zilla. When there's 30 people in a room and they all have argued with you, that's an issue on your end. Just an FYI.
  8. With nightmare and SB07. Bummer, as he has some talent.
  9. We need to meet. I like your style....
  10. ^ that's right he ditched the luggage rack.
  11. Acetone and goof off will lift powder coat? We're not just talking about gasket gunk.
  12. Old parts can shatter after being soaked in oil for many seasons. Is this a bike that's clutch has been rebuilt recently or a stock bottom end that's been hopped up over the years?
  13. Razor blade is a no go? Did you let someone powder your stuff and they didn't have the decency to mask mating surfaces? Maybe try some aircraft stripper, but it'll ruin any powder it touches. So if it runs over the edge of the surface it can get dicey quick.
  14. Maybe he fell off the grid and is now in Florida putting together street racing motors for the underground circuit.
  15. Don't think that would be a fair comparison as there are a lot of variables between the two. For the sake of keeping it apples to apples i think it's best to just keep cylinder design hypothetical.
  16. Ya, but you need the right puller for the flywheel. Not a 3 jaw.
  17. Wasn't mine, it was an old 78mm bore twister top end on 4 mm. Pre small block era, pretty much almost a T-Rex. I was gonna buy it. I rode it, tweaked on it, but after a whole day I just wasn't feeling it. This was the experience that made me finally start considering 10 mils for my set up. No idea if it was balanced. I asked and he said he bought of a dune guy from Oregon on Planet sand back in like 09.... I just think there is a broad spectrum of workable combos from over square motors to under square motors, but if you flirt with an extreme sized piston in relation to the crank, I think you could be asking for trouble.
  18. Well, this can definitely turn out to be a decent topic. Question is kinda loaded but I guess I'll start. Given the comparison above, the short stroke motor in theory should rev faster, however it would have massive pistons swinging around on those lil rods. If this combo could physically stay together it would potentially run a higher peak number then the 10 mm motor as the RPM should be higher. There is a possibility that the piston weight is so great that it could actually slow the motor. For years I thought I would be better building a huge displacement 4mm motor that had massive bore, but after actually tinkering on one I wasn't quite as impressed as I thought I would be. It just seemed to have a peak RPM wall and once the bike hit it you got some severe shake letting off the throttle. I heard that motor later let go of the rod right under the small end bearing. With the 10mm set up you would certainly have more torque and with the smaller pistons the whole assembly is actually more square then the 4mm combo. It could possibly even rev equal to or greater then the 4mm combo above. At this point in life I believe that the 10mm set up would probably be a lot less taxing on all things crank related. Now take the 10 and add equally huge pistons and all this goes out the window. Just initial thoughts.
  19. If the tool is clocked 90* at each measurement height to measure front to back then side to side yes that makes 6 points. But I guess I didn't even pay attention to the part where it shows A & B for each height. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
