  1. Why do you tell me to use OEM studs? They aren't even long enough. Why would you say the head was actually set up for Suzuki studs, yet continue to list it as needing pro design studs. To boot, I couldn't even take a pro design stud from the package and get it to go in any hole on there. No amount of lube. Physically it just wasn't happening.
  2. Here is the conversation. Really it was a pretty polite way of you to tell me to get fucked. Which I'm doing a fine job of by the way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  3. I ll start with a that you are correct about a few things. 1. No it wasn't your fault A&S flaked. (But that's who you sent me to) 2. Might not of been a plug, but it's some sort of foundry issue. (Not passing a leak down anymore) 3. No, you definitely don't want high performance heads lifting or moving. For sure it needs to be tight. ( but you want the studs the guy making it reccomends to actually physically fit in the holes in the head) The rest of your statement is nonsense babble. No I don't think I'm some super tuner and I can go be faster then your boyfriend Dan. I have ran Oval for years and got tired of trying to keep heads sealed up and hoped this would be the solution. Once I bought it and he flaked I started calling around and couldn't even get guys to touch it and they explained that it needed more then domes even after I kept referring to your words "just needs domes". When I couldn't find any one to machine it I attempted to call the number used when we spoke about missing coolant spigots. Left a message with the guy at the shop and never heard back. Then I left a message through ebay about returning the head and never heard back. (Oh well, you already had he money) So none of this would of happened if I could of returned this thing. But obviously I was stuck so I had to bite the bullet and get it sorted out some how so I hooked up with a very reputable snomo builder. After $300 bucks it was done and I didn't say a fucking word. I was silent till you had to cop a fucking cunty attitude. By the way, I agree a builder with the set up could do domes in an hour, but all the rest of the work, NO WAY. Guys were asking if it was possible that heads were made from scraps off ingets and I just said it was totally possible after finding something suspicious. You instantly called me a liar and said there was no such thing going on and acted like I accused you of pirating dirty chunks of shit out of the garbage can and used wood screws to piece it together. At that point I asked what it was that I was looking at and chalked it up to a bubble in the foundry process. Well, said bubble is no longer sealing up after a season by the way...... I don't need you to do the walmart take care of the customer even if they are wrong act. The time to take care of it was when I tried to return it before paying for finish work you said was done. I've bought many of your products and have had little to no issue. Occasionally I had to tweak here and there but always dealt with it. I've assembled several motors with your stuff on them and typically the regular heads go on with out issue or just a touch of filing in a couple holes. No biggie. But this was a catastrophe and I'm just to the point where I don't even want to give someone the chance to make it right. You obviously weren't gonna exchange it, obviously weren't giving money back, obviously weren't gonna help split cost of machining what you think should be good. Hell, now that what I questioned then won't even seal up now I'm sure there is still no recourse on your end. Oh that's right a discount on my next purchase.... Sorry, but I'm past that.
  4. My original comment about possibly using small scrap stock was not to imply you're pulling shit out of the trash can and weaseling it together. Even if you were, it wouldn't matter as long as it was a good "solid"chunk of aluminum that was big enough to machine. You interpreted it that way and started getting all pissed. Regardless my statement was based on the fact that I found something to make me question just how "solid" it was. I have never said your stuff looks bogus, or complained about pricing. Look above^ to the post you are questioning and or any where else and I clearly state you have cranked out some nice shit. On that note, this is definitely an industry where you get what you pay for. Are you really mad that said I would rather spend more money on parts that I don't have to do a single thing to other then install and go?
  5. Just fire it. Check it. Fire it and blip it a few times. Check it again and check torque. Fire it, ride it easy for a few mins. Check everything. Then get on it by Rolling the throttle on to WFO. Make sure to listen for any of noises or rattles as you're rolling through it. If it goes to WFO with out issue then it's time to let it have it.
  6. You handled this quick. It's always crazy how this shit happens right before a big trip/race.
  7. You're just putting words in my mouth. But if your excuse was that what I found was a foundry issue, then it might as well have been made from pop cans. First you call me a liar then offer me a discount? I can post the conversation here if you'd like? For every product made there is a handful of manufacturers making it. The minute I have to tear my bike down to show something ain't quite right and get nothing but excuses and back tracking from said manufacturer, it is as simple as dialing another number. I'd rather spend money local, but the last purchase was a complete and utter catastrophe. When you first started cranking out timing plates and I had to dress the thing on the grinder to get it to go in I didn't say shit. When people ask me how to fix chariot bowls when the vent tube is broken out of the box, I tell them how so they don't call you bitching. When guys ask about needing a mallet to get a head on, I show them how to ream the holes so they don't call you bitching. So you're welcome. You obviously don't need/want my dinero as you've already got it. So my comments shouldn't matter as I am just a nobody.

  9. Oh geez, will some one please weigh a rear caliper with block off and a front caliper? I'll bet it's way less then a pound difference if that.
  10. ^ uhh yeah, they are no bueno for a 10mm big bore motor.
  11. Yeah, suppose that makes me a deuchè bag.
  12. ^ kind of out of line
  13. PEPS
  14. You'll have to trim for rockets. Looks pretty slick though if done right
  15. So much suspense in your comments. I never know if you're serious or fececious.... It makes it awesomely interesting.
  16. Is it gay if a tranny blows you?
  17. Some nukkas be slick n' sheeit!
  18. That's where this gets interesting. Took a while. Ok, a really long fucking while..... But good running cheetahs are starting to pop up as builders have had their hands on them enough to get some R&D on them.
  19. Buy one I those used sets of rockets. One of the bigger inframe pipes. Seems to make early power, but signs off a touch earlier then shearers. They are a damn good pipe for stock cylinders.
  20. Ha, no doubt he put those clips in that motor! Guess he had good intentions......
  21. Oh, to the OP's original question. No...... That's definitely fixable. New crank for sure, cases, and whatever the top end ate. What are the pistons and bore condition? Bet it's got AIDS too....
  22. Hmm, looks like he used the crank clip to double up one in the trans..... Did you send him a motor with just stock amount of clips? Yahtzee
  23. Facebook = Disgusting
  24. Dome design..... For sure could be a huge issue. More specifically on the cheetahs. Needing that much to get a good burn is definitely an indicator of an issue. OP, why keep chasing the timing? Is it just not running right? You're sure the fuel is right and the heat range is correct?
