You can only stud a tire once. Even with rubber cement they will chuck them the second round. Those 1/2" screws didn't stand a chance. What tire?

They definitely shouldn't be chucking studs. How long were they ?

You doing well is because you ride well. You'll be hard pressed to get the traction you should with studs in the center of the lug. Outer row could use more work as well.
