  1. Great set up. Is this for stock stroke?
  2. Yep, the primary can be a pain. Especially if it's got RTV on the keyway. Worst case, you have to fashion a puller. Shouldn't be to bad. Definitely resist the temptation of prying against the case. I've seen guys try to use claw hammers and mat the clutch cover sealing surface and break teeth off the gear. Registered posted a pretty swank set up to use. I bet you can use one from the auto parts store for cheap. You might as well even buy one knowing it could be a tool you need in the future as well.
  3. http://www.custompartnet.com/drill-size-chart #31 is .120
  4. Cam, you are making me wanna vomit!
  5. Got a nitrous bottle, or co2 tank from paintball? You can try cooling the crank snout after warming the gear.
  6. Shit I was thinking nut. Heat can definitely help getting the gear off though.
  7. Hot tub baby from the hotel?
  8. Used an impact with crank in some sort of cushy vice? Maybe a touch of heat is needed. Use a little map gas tank and warm it up, tap on the sides with a big flat head, then a socket that is to small and tap on it a few times, then hit it with the impact.
  9. Nonsense.
  10. I like the concept, I like exotic stuff, hell, I just like different shit. However I like shit that works. So far, it seems like there has been some hurdles and it seems like they are reeling it it with time. But in that time since I have seen these come out till now, I've put quite a few different set ups together for guys and almost every one has been jetted near perfect, right out of the box. With the huge knowledge base here and the amount of times I've been in a set of carbs, it's easy to know almost exactly what jetting a carb needs for a particular set up. I'm just not convinced these things are saving any one time jetting or money buying jets.
  11. Ditch those knock offs! Any used mikuni or keihin stuff will be far less headache.
  12. What fuel, I'm assuming race fuel? Should be. But different race fuels can require more then regular premium.
  13. True. I've never messed with them much, but your makin' sense.
  14. Holes won't do much now as there is no way for them to scavenge lube.
  15. Edge like squish. Gotta get creative to factor the volume of the crown if it's in your math.
  16. I don't think he worded it like it would be 7mm out.
  17. RZ and banshee
  18. Lathe a groove in the piece of plexi till it sits at pistons height. Something tells me it's not that serious for the op
