  1. No. No octane booster. Just run the right parts with the right fuel. It's that simple.
  2. Yes there is a washer on the OEM set up. Most just toss them out.
  3. Actually stock flywheels are the best to begin with..... Granted they aren't rattling. Swap stator.
  4. Pick the base gasket that puts the ports in the best possible location in relation to the piston's crown edge. Lots of cubs with .020 base gaskets. Figure all that out before having new domes made. That way you can have the domes cut to spec and have a proper squish. For pump gas I'd imagine you'll get about 23-24cc domes.
  5. Big bore is for 500cc+ you're on a 421.
  6. If you are fortunate enough to have a gas station that sells a 98 MON in the pump go for it otherwise I'd run that on av gas or 50/50 blend. As you're ported the motor will make more when running so you're not even borderline safe IMO. Change the fuel of cut the domes.
  7. Toomey filter is ok, not flowing what pods do though. Toomey needles, well that's a lot of coin to spend when the OEM needles do just fine. I've tried DynoJet needles, Vito's needles, and Toomey needles. Always went back to the good ol fashioned OEM/Mikuni needles.
  8. Sunoco? Or Competition Fuels? The 110 in a pump is no where near what good VP is.
  9. Do your self a favor and definitely buy the 55 gallon drum. I am so tired of buying 5 gal pails and always getting a decent ride in and only having a tiny bit left that barely gets me around the next time out. If a 55 is to big they do mini drums as well.
  10. Do you find you're self always in tight riding or are the strip mines sort of wide open?
  11. I've always left it due to the air pocket theory. I'll bet there's a few drag guys who have it blocked though.
  12. Never knew there were O ringed plates out there. Definitely get with Tony at Tdr. Leave a message and either him or his wife will make sure they get with you and sort it out.
  13. Holy cow! That's mighty excessive. You wanna be about .045 minimum and .060 max. What type of base gasket is in there?
  14. Someone got it.
  15. Yes, you will need a different cable. Might as well just do the honda thumb and be done if you don't like twist
  16. < saw that camaro that Goat was working on. Did not see goat.....
  17. Hmm, I figured it would be easily removable while riding. Like when it's caked with mud all over it. That way the rad can still get air.
  18. Where did you find the mud screen?
  19. Huh?
  20. Nay on Weisco! Non rebuildable and I've twisted two of them up. The new Vito's do Look bad ass! I've had one on my hand, I've just never ran one. So maybe BHP can weigh in.
  21. HotRods is the ford, chevy, dodge of cranks. You want anything better and you'll need to have one built.
  22. There is. I regret buying a good used truck. For $30-50 more bucks I could be in a new GMC. Don't bother with the turBRO diesel stuff unless you need it for work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Green is 100% right. With that said, I like my grandpa rated 1500 GMC sierra. The GM 1500 line is pretty comfy, has LS power, and there's a catalog of parts to fix what you don't like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Checked all grounds? Just save your self the time and swap all your buddy's running parts on yours.
