  1. My old man peppered some 19 year old kid when I was about 15. He was trying to steal my brother's KX125. ( I'll post a pic later ) I personally have shoved a crow bar through the side of someone's skull and truely wish I had a pistol instead. It's a lot less work.
  2. Light amount of heat followed with penetrating oil. Repeat a couple times. Grab it with vice grips or channel locks and give it a good spin before trying to tug it like a molar.
  3. Any old photos of the bike stance with these? Just curious how low they would go. They might hold me over till the Peps get built.
  4. You are thinking Bob Ross. That's fucking funny! I was just talking with a guy at work about that dude because they made a "happy trees" reference.
  5. Yes. I have seen that done.
  6. Have you looked at the PRM stuff (not RPM)?
  7. One thing with alky, when it's fat it will just wash the plug clean. Like Jmadd and special said, just ease in to the power jet till it starts to make color. Get a small magnifying glass of some sort or even a Jewlers scope to start watching the strap as well. Pay attention to the strap a lot more as you lean it up. It will tell you what it wants if you know what to look for. Check out some online drag racing forums like yellowbullet.com for tuning info on plugs.
  8. I rode those cylinders on initial tune up. Lots of potential for a fun set up right there.
  9. 21-22cc if it's stock bore and port. Elevation plays a role as well. But 22 would be safe and you could probably still give it some timing.
  10. Hehehe, I've been telling people the race techs wouldn't be awesome forever.
  11. I dig those decals.
  12. Stator/flywheel combo ain't charging up to par. Shake the flywheel and if it doesn't rattle I'd change the stator.
  13. Pilot is certainly way lean, but to be ported on a 290 main and still foul plugs... Something fucky is going on. May need to go through electrical and do all the simple stuff.
  14. Case halves are a matched set? Good oil at a proper mix?
  15. Kan will take care of you well.
  16. Didn't pass a proper test, so you made up a hillbilly test that justified the fact that it failed. Always verify EVERYTHING, why risk the thousands on the motor.
  17. Try and ride it like one. It'll tell you exactley if it is or isn't in a matter of one run.
  18. Well Matt, that was a bit more cut and dry then my drawn out dribble. Haha
  19. Look inside the clutch cover where the exterior insert is mounted. There are three raised nubs where there are screws for mounting the insert. With the screws still installed, use a grinder, large drill bit, or small cutting device and knock the rounded tip off to make it flush with the rest of the inner casting. Pull the screws and put a dab of thread sealant or LOCTITE on them, and re install them. It's not much material really.
  20. Mull shift star and detent arm are a nice upgrade. Might as well look over the water pump and do a fresh clutch while you're in there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Replace the adjuster at the end with the pancake.
  22. Correct.
  23. A considerable amount will transfer. Head set up is about the only real difference. May wanna consider big bore pipes though if you stay shearer. Maybe Snipers or something custom If you can afford to do it. If you can afford to go bigger, go for it.
