  3. Yes, think in terms of how the crank/rod/piston motion is. On the down stroke it's tugged down but also the rod is being slung back toward the intake and on th up stroke it's being thrown up, but also a bit toward the exhaust. That's why you see the egg shaped bores on motors with more hours. To help combat that issue, the common solution is a longer for to create less angle so there is less fore & aft thrust.

  9. Check flywheel for a rattling sound and that it's still magnetic. If that checks out, it's probably the stator.
  10. Get a new core reworked in to a pro mod for all around use, or an over ride for drag use.
  11. Jetting sounds close enough to at least get an ok pass. What is compression in both cylinders? What do the spark plugs look like? And what was the bike doing before it went to the shop, and what did they say/do?
  12. Lots of them on the market are fucky. Just gotta lift/lower the bike around and say "Fuck!" a lot and you should be good.

  14. Have you tried backing all the spring pressure off so you can compress it?
  15. Check all fluids before every ride. Also grip every suspension component and try to rattle it to make sure everything is nice and tight.
  16. Weisco seals are janky as fuck!
  17. Just a seal. What brand seal did you replace it with? Takes some patience to get a new one in there with out any distortion. Use a little sheet metal screw to screw in to the old seal, and pull it with pliers. That keeps guys from prying it with a screw driver and marring the surfaces. Check that there aren't any nicks or burrs on the shaft before the next one goes in. Also, a little grease goes a long way.

  21. It is possible to go through the chrome if it's junk. Even some descent chrome requires a level of finesse and a lot more time on the wheel then sanding. However if it's shitty, pitted, and thin, I personally would prefer to just power through it and get the pipe raw.
