  1. they look pretty good to me. hope you get em' soon. good luck
  2. I luv my T5's I ride mostly dunes. There great for all around sand slingin' as well as drag racing. They have a great top end pop.
  3. More air always means more power. You dont have to have all the mods, but you will notice more of a gain if you upgrade other stuff. So I say get em. Even if your motor's stock.
  4. Sounds like a pretty good plane to me! Dont bother getting reed spacers unless you get bigger carbs. and need to clear the clutch linkage. Ive heard the dial a jet doesnt do squat. Dont knoe for sure though. And I would also seriously rethink the NOS idea. Nitrous gives awsome power, but only for a short time and it could also spell disaster for your engine. Just My Two Cents
  5. dude one word-Lectrons!!!!! My bansh has similer mods and I have 36mm. Lectrons As far a ease of tuning. NOTHING is easier!! Theres not even jets to mess with. They have adjustable power valves. So all you have to do is turn a screw to go rich or lean. Give Dennis Packard a call. His sight is packardracing.com He custom machines all his Lectrons to your ridding style and mods. Seriously, Lectrons are the only way to go. there sorta spendy, but well worth thew money!! All other brands are just a larger versions of the the same P.O.S. that came stock.
  6. they look like sst's to me. Cant be sure though
  7. When you have a tors elimination kit, the idle is adjusted with two small brass screws. There should be one toward the top of each carb. Turn them both un till you solve your idle problem. hope this helps
  8. Can anyone translate this topic to english? Sounds like your pilot could be to small Loose the stock carbs. and buy yourself some Lectrons.
  9. One way to find out for sure is to remove the tors all together. I think a tors elimination kit is like $25 Also make sure(if you havent all ready) that the choke tube is connected and be sure your pilots arn't clogged Hope this helps a little.
  10. I didnt have to make any adjustments at all when i went to +4. Other than I had to hold on a little tighter.
  11. Yep. What he said.
  12. If your lookin for "bang for the buck". And you also plan on porting. T5's mite be a better choise. IMO.
  13. pro-circuit platnums are also a good option. They have awsome bottom end snap-and a pretty good top end pull also. just my two cents.
  14. I guess its just the nature of the beast. My bansh can suck the tank bone dry in about 40min. of WOT dune ridding. Sorta spendy when ya gotta run 110. Money well spent IMO
  15. Adding +4 deg. in timming shouldnt require a much bigger main. Try the 180, do a plug chop, and see where your at. Sorry meadows, I doubt this post is much help
  16. Word! A timming plate is a cheap source of some power. Should work well with stock porting. Just go with +4, should be the ticket. Just My Two Cents
  17. Well dude i used to own a trinity built 686 craptor-sold it! The next day I bought my shee. When I think of all the money I pissed away building up that POS, instead of puttin it towards a bansh, That craptor could never even compete w/ my bansh. Thats a fact!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. thanx for the heads up- thats a shitty deal!
  19. check out ebay-your bound to find all three of those. probably for a pretty good deal.
  20. Word!!!!! Banshees usually have a hard time starting when cold. You mite want to check your comp. though. Low comp. can make it hard to start. As for your pipes smoking, your carbs mite be out of sync. Check your carbs to see if your balance tube is still there. They tend to go missing. Just my two cents
  21. with out a doubt, get some pipes. I would go with some PC Platnums. just my two cents.
  22. If ya go with a good size port, i'd get a noss head(or a cool head, same diff). And use 18cc or even 17cc. domes. But most imprtantly RELAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Has anyone tried VPu2? I heard that shit is the shit.
