  2. looks like I will go with the B8ES. thanks for the help
  3. Hi, I have BR8ES plugs in the shee now. Talked to the dealer and said I should have B8ES plugs. Does that mean that I have resistor plug caps. If that is true, does it make a difference having a resistor plug as well as a resistor cap? ust need to get a bunch of plugs so I can do some plug chops to see how the jetting is. thanks
  4. wow was the gap out of spec. Adjusted back to .020 and what a difference. Starts fantastic and idles great. 2 things it never did before. I guess now it is time to do some jetting and see what the shee will do. thanks
  5. Arlen Lehman, started LRD, now is running LED engnes. Arlen is an awsome guy to deal with, he will build you an engine you will be very happy with.
  6. Interesting with the hard to start. This has always been hard to start. Guess I know what I will be doing tonight.
  7. Drewski, where did you get that one from? Do you have any more pics of it you can send to me?
  8. interseting. The same problem I am having. But iot only seems to misfire on the left side at low rpm. When you rev it up, it seem better.
  9. What are some of the problems you might have if the pickup it too far away from the triggers on the flywheel. i only ask because if you buy the ricky stator adjustable stator plate they say to set the clearance between the two at .020. I assume if it is too far away, it will not fire at all. Would it cause ittermittent spark as well. or what about 1 cylinder firing and 1 not. Just courious to the opinions out there.
  10. airbox is gone and using a toomey 2 into 1 air cleaner setup
  11. alsi have the 2 into 1 intake as well
  12. Hi, looking for a good starting place for jetting with 28 pwk`s bored 30. Engine is stock porting, head shaved .015, boysen reeds, fmf gnarley ^pipes, and timing advanced 4 degrees. Now I have 50 pilots, 155 mains and a jjh needle in the middle clip. Elevation is 2000 feet. thanks
  13. Hi, does the orange wire go to the front of the bike on the coil or to the back side. Does it even matter.
  14. I have 20x10x10 8 paddle haulers and I run 3 psi in the loose sand in idaho. When I go to Oregonhe sand is a little wetter and do not need the hook up. need a little more of the wheel spin. I do notice that at 3 or a little less, the tires will actually turn on the rim
  15. been running belray mc1 at 50-1 in all my 2 strokes and never a problem. Think all the oils they make now a days are good, just follow what they say on the back of the bottle and you shoulkd be fine
  16. Hi, just a question on ignition advance. Is it going to give more on the bottom or top. My motor is just rebuilt, shaved head, v force reeds and 28 pwk carbs with fmf gnarley pipes. I have the adjustable stator plate and would like to know where to start with the timing. thanks
  17. so normally they are loose on the splines and once you tighten the locknuts, they will tighten up
  18. Hi, doing a rebuild on my 96 shee. Got the axle and sprocket holder and rear brake disc holder back from the zinc plater. Now that I am re assembling them, both are loose on the axle. Is there anything to I can do to tighten these up? They were ok before, but I think that was all the rust and crud. Now they are all clean. Is is the holders that are worn or the splines on the axle? By a quick visual inspection, both appear to be ok. Or is it a combination of both? Have seen many shee's and lots seem to have this problem. thanks
  19. just like everyone says. I used a stud with a nut that was 1 1/8 , welded a nut to both sides and then used an impact to take it out. Just did it last night and worked great.
  20. I use the klotz flex drive. A mechanic recommended to me in Rexburg and have been using it ever since. It also seems to last longer than the belray 80w that I was using. With the belray, after a hard day in the dunes, the tranny started to shift harder and that usually indicated it was time to change oil. With the klotz, I could go 2 or 3 days before it was time to change oil. It also seems to be cleaner when it is changed out. Switched over my rz350 and rz500 to this stuff as well and both seem to like it better. it is worth the extra money in my opinion.
  21. will you ship to canada, pm me
  22. looking for a 6 pack grab bar. what do you have
  23. How do you take out the lower retaining ring for the lower steering stem bearing? What size hex wrench do you need to do this, or is there another way? thanks
  24. thanks for the help. I did it last night and was easy to do. Now need to finish off putting the engine together and powdercoating the frame and get it all together and then we will see what it does.
