  1. the longer swing arm is gonna make the bike hook less, thats why the longer you go on the swinger, the more paddles you have to run to get more hook. I would have to say there is something wrong with your tune cause you should have no problems pulling the gearig you have now. you say the old pistions had cut widows and the new ones do not?? I would say you should send the pistions out to who ever did the last set and have them cut. your porting is probably based on the cut windows and now you dont have them, so it may be messing the whole works up
  2. I am sure dune land up at silver lake has some slip on sparkys that will work with these silencers also. cheaper than buying another set of pipes. but to each his own.
  3. you say the cylinders are bored to .080 and the pistions are .076 well then you have .004 clearance which should be just fine. I run my 4mill cub at .0035 clearance with no problems. so you have the right pistions if these are the correct measurements you have given us
  4. http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_cata...Id=10902&mmyId= should be all you need to get into silver lake. never had a prblem with my bike not making db and it is way louder than toomeys are
  5. no go on that one, I need to get my crank rebuilt, new pistions billet float bowls yatta yatta yatta. and I have to buy my mom somthing for mothers day, looks like the banshee will have to sit for yet another week broke
  6. you will see a much greater improvement with a head and or porting over the rev box, the cdi is more of a get that one last hiden hp out of her type of thing rather than a good bolt on in my opinion
  7. why not just stay in silver lake?? bunch of camp grounds, and there are a bunch of hotels in mears which is only 10 minutes out of silver lake
  8. looking for a lock up side cover for a banshee, would like polished but will live without, trying to make it to silver lake this weekend. bike kicked back on me and broke my old one
  9. yes dyno edge built that motor, and cubshee on planet sand owns it, that motor did infact make those numbers with out of frame pipes and a set of carbs bored to 41mm and it was on pump gas. have talked to the guy many times and he is a straight shooter, gt my crank fixed and back to me in 2 days for real cheap.
  10. pm FASTOYS on here he can get ya everything you need and more!!!
  11. I do, thats where I do most of my on line shoping at, did you ever find race fuel??
  12. lets just say when this thing hooks up, its like getting kicked in the ass by a freight train going 80mph, even with an 8 over swing arm I still have to fight to keep the front end down my bikestarted out completely stock, then went to the bolt ons, got board with that so I bought a bigbore kit, still was not fast enough so I bought what I have now. wish I would have done it first would have been cheaper but it has been fun trying difernt things to see what works and what does not.
  13. what time ya leaving ?? I am at work till noon them I could go if ya want
  14. http://www.metaltechproducts.com/ very nice swingers, remeber you get what you pay for
  15. swing arm length is mostly rider prefrence if it is to lite in the front I would go to a +2 or a +4 you dont want to go much over this if you are gonna be riding in tight trails, just rember the longer the swinger the more it is gonna want to push through the corners. also viteos has been cutting pistions like that for a while now.
  16. how much for a set of +3 forward stock width drag a-arms??
  17. gonna head up to silver lake to break in bigcrewduramaxes new FAST motor, just wondering if anyone else is planning on being there that weekend. thinking we are gonna be staying in the state park. so if ya see us stop on in for a cold one or two.
  18. yes spend 2500 on a high end motor then go to a farm suply store and skimp on a very important part. some people will never learn
  19. jeff sells it by the foot might not get to ya though cause he can pack it right!!!!
  20. this is an older bike with a carb on it, guy droped it off and said he was pulling a roller around his yard last fall and after he put it away he pulled it out in the spring and it would not start. and there is a manual compression release on the head, valves all looked good, I fliped the compression release and it is opening the valve like it should, can still see cross hatches in the cylinder wall but I have not had a chance to pull the cylinder off and check the rings yet. steve this bike has a real weird size spark plug so I had to use one of the adapters and the normal hose that was on the gauge. I thought it was the gauge at first also but like I said I tryed it twice just to make sure. one guy seems to think the floats stuck and filled the motor full of fuel, causeing the oil to be washed off the cylinder walls and trashing the rings. only thing we can think of to cause the air box to be half full of gas.
  21. I thought that too but I took it out put a little oil on the seals and screwed it back in and it did the same thing.
  22. kind of got droped in my lap one sunday morning, would rather it be a two stroke but ya got to take what ya can get I guess, nope it got to late last night so I am gonna pull the cylider after work today.
  23. working on a suzuki king quad, thing would not start so I check spark all good, checked for fuel good to go, then did a compression check and the gauge will jump to about 40 psi then it will fall right back to zero every compression stroke, so I pull the head off and all the valves look good, have not taken them out of the head yet but they look good, spun the motor over and cant find any major scratchs in the cylinder wall. anyone have any ideas?? oh and when I pulled the air box lid off it was about half full of gas never seen that before.
  24. when I sent my cages back to v force to get them warintied that is what they told me, they still gave me a new set of cages and pedals cause the screw trashed my top end. if you cant get the screws to stay in, send them in to v force and they will send ya new ones, not to many people know of this, but it has worked for me and a few friends
