I second that!! through some bigger carbs on and some shearer pipes and you will need double rows of velcro!! have fun with your new setup

mine runs cooler for sure never took temp readings but just running the bike for a while and feeling the head it is defently cooler

if you put a 4mill stroker in and dont get the porting changed to match it you are wasting yourtime in my opinion. I would get the cylinders ported for your riding style then when you get board with that pending on your builders porting style you can get the 4mill and have the cylinders reported to match. or if your builder will not report them you can get all kinds of stock cylinders on ebay for cheap since the cub motors came out.

you should just to make sure it does not leak, but I have removed my cover and reused the old gasket before, just make sure you dont tear it when you pull the cover off.

FAST woods port will make it fly and it will only run ya 200 bones, look up doing the timing plate mod your self or a ricky stator plate 35.00 port your cages and get some tdr reeds, or run some vf2's or 3's shave your head to raise the ion or get a noss head with smaller domes. you will not believe how much faster your bike will be with porting alone though. give jeff a call FAST racing 785-364-5325 he has or can get ya any part you can dream of and they are great prices also. great guy to just bs with on the phone also. good luck on your decision oh and gorr id leaving the country and there is a dead line on when you can get your stuff to him so I would watch it sending stuff his way.

I had ths problem after I put my cub motor rogether, went through and replaced cam shift forks, inner and outer clutch hub, new hinson basket, and a moded shift shaft form FAST racing and my tranny has not shifted like it does now since I have owned the bike. the way I figured it was, it may have been a bonch of little things adding up to make a big problem so I eliminated them all, problem solved. oh and if you are trying to bench shift the bike the shafts have to be spinning the same direction the would be if the bike was running and they have to be spinning pretty fast so you may not be able to get it to shift right till ya get the bike goin again.

well I bought two bikes for 900.00 so I am trying to get parts for both of them thats why the list is so long. but yeah it feels that way for sure

cylinders are the same cost right across the board 875.00 wether it be a 4,7,10mil case trenching is about the same, cranks are within a few dollars, have to run big bore pipes with a 7 or 10 any way, gonna need a long ass swing arm, big carbs 39s should work, vf2's or 3's new intakes for bigger carbs, cool head stroker domes, straight cut gears, lock-up clutch, tz crank bearings, override tranny. the list goes on and on.

Reeds timing plate cool head, pipes, bigger carbs porting stroker kit, cub cylinders the list goes on and on.... kind of need more info like where you will be riding how much you want to spend etc..... kind of a broad question

Needed engine cylinders pipes wheels and tires chain and sprockets plastics seat cool head carbs 28-33 pwks new style rear hubs wireing harness (pending on year of engine I get) head lights 2+1 j-arms handle bars front bumper +4 swinger (round style carrier) carrier timing plate reeds and cages brake calipers I think that is all I need for now, I will update the list as I go. let me know what ya got and how much you have to get for it. thanks JT
