  1. nice to see sq is still out there, around here sq died in the late nineties, spl died soon after now people just want crazy stuff to show off, im working on a system in my dodge quad cab with 2 coustic design reference amps from like 92 i had an 05 scion with 8 amps and 4 tens it was wild check it out also theres a door panel from an is 300 i built check out my site www.easterncorvettes.com photo gallery mikes installs page 3 or 4 theres some cool stuff in there
  2. i am not speaking of porting the bottom of the pistons, i am talking about notching the top of the pistons to allow for the piston to not cover any port are a bdc. i know there are points to every side, just wanted some opinions i feel a major improvement in the overall ride,--for most of you in comparison my bike would feel like a barbie powerwheels jeep
  3. i spent 10 years doing high end custom car audio, and found out that tons of our customers were in to bmx - dirtbikes, atv - car audio just wondering if any you fools are in to sq or custom installs send me some pics please
  4. i had a 02 nissan 4door with extended bed, by far the biggest small truck bed, it hed my cr250 with the gate down, the problem loading a quad the wheelwells want to push the quad into the back window. if you are buying small truck go import it will last longer,
  5. thanks sir it kind of embarassing the few mods i have compared to all the stuff i read about in here it seems like most people here in cincinnati just do cool head and pipes. the guy that does our machine work had some wild stuff but nothing like cheetah motors and the sort. lets all say we have ridden on stock banshees, and banshees with pipes, huge difference -- what are they like with a +4 crank and cheetah motor. i cant imagine what they are like factory is around 45hp i am guessing that i am around 50hp. (maybe!) so what are these monster motors 70 100hp what is it like to ride

I have to say my feelings are hurt someone called me a tool box because i was screwing around trying to be funny, sorry your heinus I thought this was a Banshee board not a young republican party meeting, I promise i will not try to humor anyone any longer, and i bow Anyway I had our machine shop take my cylinders and new pro lite pistons. Our machinist has had 11 banshees and found the best ways to make it a great woods bike. He took my pistons and grooved the tops to line up with the intake ports so when the piston is bdc it reveals more port, not changing the size of the port therefore not changing velocity. he then shaved the intake and lower in the cylinder at the transfer ports, ported and polished the exhaust, and milled the head .030. I rode one of his that had this done and it was amazing. i picked the motor up yesterday and installed it and was amazed at the difference, this was outstanding. (i have v force 3, reed spacers, boost bottle, and t6s) I can not believe the power of this, the best part being his personal bike has been together for 7 years, and he showed me he pistons after still looked good, 2 questions how long do you know to extend swing arms, is there a ratio for hp or is it guesswork for woods riding. i think now it is too light in the front second anyone else ever channeled the top of a piston
  7. well the truth being i think that guy lied to me. i kind of think the lightweight carbon fibre did help the powerband but since i weigh around 210 and my banshee has 35 lbs of torque using new math that is about 245 pounds of torque, now multiply that by 6 speeds and add the 10 octane booster i put in instead of oil in my gas that makes around 1312 horsepower give or take 1.268 horses. not to mention i replaced my air with helium in the tires and this thing flies. the cam thing was just a joke, even i know a banshee cam cant be replaced, its welded to the head duh!
  8. i appreciate the fast replies, and i wonder why the guy that i buy all my stuff from said to just cut two teeth off with a hacksaw. he seems smart when i bought my carbon fibre powerband it made it way faster just like he said. he did a valve job on my shee and sold me a lightweight oring cam chain and lobed out cam. it is prolly the fastest bike ever. i am sorry that ya took me serious on cutting the teeth off, i thought it was pretty funny. thanks for your replies made it a great welcome to the site.

I have an 05 and just bought titan trekkers 22 11 10 and 22 8 10 i would like to keep the ratio as close to stock as possible so what size should i drop the front sprocket to, if it is a 14 or 15 stock can i just hacksaw 2 teeth off. when i do a new sprocket on the front will i need to remove a link. this quadwheeler has very few hours so i am not real worried about purchasing a new sprocket chain combo. hopefully someone can help
