went to a 8 over arm on my bike, question is, where should I send my shock to get it resprung and revalved for the longer swinger and rider weight? or should I ditch the stocker and buy something else??

I rode jeffs rapter at little sahara that thing flat gets it for a rapter, kind of fun watching unsuspecting banshees get blowen away by a rapter. many laughed and many went home with there tail between there legs

jeff over at fast has a couple of mods he does to the shifter shaft and a different spring for the shift star detent arm. you should give him a pm, not to much cash and it defenetly helps.

I quit adding it up, it hurts to think about how much I have rapped up in my bike, well worth every dime though!!! would do it agian in a heart beat! thinkin 10mil cub and suspended drag frame.

ditch the big bore kit, it will hurt more then help, the transfer ports get cut way down with the big bore, the transfers are the main power maker. port the stock cylinders, cpi pipes, and bigger carbs, or a 350 cub, cpis and bigger carbs. cpi pipes come on alittle sooner in the mid range but will not rev as high as the shearers. me personaly I love my shearers and would not trade them for anything. oh and alot of the 1/4 mile bikes on planet sand run 18/38ish gearing in the 1/4 mile so I would not say it has not been done. most of them are goin mid 90's at the big end.

I dont think I would buy a engine setup off of ebay personaly, who do you call for setup info? what about tuning stuff like what jets to run etc... I like the fact that when I have a question about my engine or I have an idea I am thinking about trying, I just pick up the phone and call my builder. to me that is worth the little extra ya spend. what about the little stuff ya need like stud extenders, core plugs gaskets etc?.... just something to think about

measure the bore size that goes into the intake boot, it is in mm's like my kehien pwks measure 39mm's on the intake boot side. are your carbs flat slides or round? meaning the slide that goes in the top of the carb will be round or flat, and some are d-shaped

guys over on planet sand where talkin about this, they said to prepare to replace alot of parts, I guess nitro is real hard on the crank and bearings

bike is dirty in these pics, I will clean her up and polish the pipe up, like I said bike was set up for motocross but my bro ended up braking his shoulder on his 80 and has not gone back since then. we have owned the bike since new and have taken very good care of it. make offers if no one wants to trade.

I am running 21/12/8 9 paddle paddla brats right now, they are great dune tires but slip alittle bit if you are in hard packed sand, one of the litest drag tires you can buy also. I bought a set of 22/11/8 11 paddle extreams that I am gonna try at the track this summer then I am gonna decide which pair I want to keep and which ones are getting sold.

16 hr. car ride that my friends refuse to do for a weekend ride again! workin on it though
