I am running 39 pwks with my inframe shearers and the only place they are real close is on the head on the lft side and they almost tuch the pod filters but they have not melted through them at all, I did put a zip tie on the outer wear to keep it off of the stinger tube just incase. only thing I disliked was the fact that you have to really streach the hell out of the stock springs to get them on the pipes from the jugs, my be diferent on stock jugs but my cubs are a pane in the ass to get the springs on!! my 2cents
  2. I don't think your pcs rev near as high as the shearers I have on my bike but I could be wrong, all I do know is they pull alot longer than my t5's ever did for sure!!!

  4. as I said live and learn I guess, I was just pissed that it broke you know how it goes, jeff is pushing real hard to get the cylinders back to me as soon as posible so I can make the hq ride. sad thing is I never knew the screws backing out was a problem till after I bought them. thats all I was getting at, could have said hay you have to really watch the scews on them or something along those lines. no hard feelings to anyone I am not here to make enimys. sorry to wesw but watch for flyin sand in ok. pasion, do the threes hold up and not shatter? I want to know if I should by a set of back up pedels for the hq ride,
  5. I am running 160 mains in my 39 pwks and its just a touch on the rich side don't remember what pilot and needle I have I will have to go check.

  8. man I wish I would not have deleated the pm from him about the reeds, he told me one reed needed replacing and that all I needed to do was use some loctite on the screws and there would be not problems. thing is, the cage that was called the good cage broke a reed the first time, then the other cage broke two reeds on the third time one of the srews worked its way all the way out and destroyed the top end. live and learn I guess, just realy pissed me off that he gets on here and says "yeah I had the same problem with mine so I shit canned them"

  10. its gonna cost me 750 cause I have to have my cubs sent out to be stripped and replated, which I found out you have to do both sides not just one, I then have to buy new pistions, a new dome for my noss head, gaskets, and shipping to and from. I was running reed spacers in front of the cages so the reeds were out of the turbulance, I had the tension set on high, and I made sure the cages were clean before using loctite on them. I could understand installer error on one pedel but for three two break one right after another I would have to say the cages were bad!!

  14. yeah you shit canned them on me and it just destroyed my $2000.00 top end!!! I am sending them in and buying 3's for sure!!!

I have a 4mill 68 bore cub and I love it!! this thing rips and I have no problem riding it slow it is nice and mild tempered antill the pipe comes on, then its like getting kicked in the ass by a mac truck!!!! I would never consider porting stock jugs after riding a set of cubs. as far as the clutch goes, I would just buy a F.A.S.T. clutch and not worry about it anymore, I am running right around 100 hp with no lock up on my clutch and I have never got it to slip!!
  16. I was using red loctite on mine, one time it broke one of the middle pedels on the left side, then the screws backed out twice on the right side and dropped the reeds out, so now I have to pull the top end and make sure it did not f up my brand new cylinders.
  17. have a used msd ignition for sale, bought it then decided I don't need it! has the mag pick up that charges the battery so you don't have to stop and charge the battery all the time, also comes with a back up r/c car charger for quick charges. 200.00 shipped to your door. leave email address if you want pictures.
  18. tryed riding my banshee this weekend but in two days I broke three reed pedals on my vf2's has anyone else had this problem? if so what did they end up doing?, also I can't get the damn screws to stay tight any ideas??
  19. do a plug chop and see what they look like, sounds like your piolet is fine but your main might be to big. drop it down one size and ride it then check your plugs again.
  20. do a search on modifying your stock timing plate, you can use a dremel and open up the slots on your stock plate and get about +4 on your timing and it is free!!!!

I ported my stock cages and put some tdr reeds on them and I could feel the differance, my friends bike was set up the same as mine except for the cages being ported and I usualy pulled between half to one full bike length on him!! if you don't have the money for vf2's or 3's why not port your stock ones it is a free mod that makes a differance. I just bougt some vf2's and have not been able to try them yet but when I go dyno my engine I am going to take both sets odf cages and see which ones make more power.
