  1. Damage ?? Think of it a damaged arm wouldnt look like that , it would be kinked, powdercoat chipped , helm joints squeezed in. The a-arm is in top shape the problem is just that its a different model a-arm, maybe a +1 forward instead of +2 or it could even be off a yfz or raptor. It seems like a packing problem the guy made a mistake and put two different types of top a-arms in the box .
  2. Ive heard T6 sucked and anything else was better is that true ? And why ?
  3. or you maybe have a +2 forward arm and a +1 A-arms just cant be different they are made with a jig. 1 inch forward would make a big difference in the angles . You have 2 different type a a-arms thats all.
  4. I can see exactly what happenned, They gave you 1 longtravel Banshee arm +3 wide +2 forward and the other is a standard travel banshee arm. Just send them back, They made the mistake. !!!
  5. I dont see why he would write banshee, maybe to get more viewwers i guess. Obviously as you can see this guy is a weirdo !! Hey guys dont miss out on dressing up like your hero Robert Smith !!
  6. I agree with that.
  7. That would be the best option i think but he seems to want to keep his pistons. Long rod would need the longrod pistons which would be the best job. or make a thicker shim which wouldnt be the greatest setup.
  8. if you want to keep your pistons you could get a +4 only crank from vitos with shims at 495$ which would be bolt on and run fine on your engine. Anything bigger would be more $$$ and mods needed to your engine. http://www.vitosperformance.com/atv_parts/...=200&page=1
  9. hes jetting could be spot on and yours could be off a little ! Once me and my buddies bought 50cc chinesse atvs and they all came out of the crate ,well there was always one faster than the other even if they were exactly identical and whoever would race it ! Same bike same wear . Check your jetting, his needles could be different, different clip, lots of things could be the cause.
  10. it could depend on lots of things engine wear, driver... etc his bike could also be ported without you or him knowing , oversises too can change , clutch slipping a bit etc... a jetting difference like that would change alot in a race. anything could be the cause , it could be as simple your weight different than his. Dont try to figure out something like that
  11. i was on ebay searching for banshee parts and this banshee wig whatever thing came out, i like how the guy wears it in front of a mirror and takes his own picture + read his text its just weird. The best part is when he sais (I wore this last year in New Orleans and EVERYONE said "hey its Roberts Smith!", ) cgi.ebay.ca/CURE-Robert-Smith-WIG-gothic-goth-Banshee-halloween-XX_W0QQitemZ290036453387QQihZ019QQcategoryZ82161QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  12. PIPES and yes you can find some used for less than 250 (probably old fmfs or dgs painted flat black with a can but anything is better than stock pipes. Stock pipes= Ugly,no performance and weight around a ton each. Dont waiste your money on gizmos Kn + pipes and now you can talk about feeling a difference.
  13. wrong,! Outboard drag pipes csrmel !
  14. I think just leave the mount like it is just take the a arm off, bend the far side back and tack a washer on this side , buy a new a-arm and it should be fine . Ive seen alot worst than that before. I think your a-arms took most of the shock and your frame is still in top shape , youl see once the bike is standing up if the frame got serious damage. seems fine to me
  15. I dont think your frame is bent , wouldnt the impact the way it bent the a arm make the frame bend the other way you think it is bent . I think all banshee frames have that weird curve in them, The easiest way to see if a bike is bent is to put it standing up leanning on the back bar and look at it.
  16. boost bottle i dont think just adding a k&n filter is going to change the jetting that much Do you have pipes on your bike ?
  17. Ive already seen a homemade tool made of an old steel cluth plate with a handlle welded on to it , just hold the handle and tighen the hub. Never hold it with a screwdriver the little (fingers) are very fragile.

    geometry

Back when i had a suzuki lt 250r i had welded the front frame of a 400ex on it with the a-arms and shocks, huge improvement and easy to do.
  19. helicoils are easy to put in probably no drilling and would make a permanent job or you could try self taping plugs.
  20. yeah you oould . i dont know if they sell any but just take one off an old bearing , i just used a small finishing nail that i cut . As long as it keeps the bearing from turning in the cases.
  21. When i bought my pwk 28s new they came with something like 35 pilots and like 135 main thats way too lean, i ran 50 pilots and 155 main with needle center clip, and yes those little brass things in the middle need to be blocked off or run a hose from one to another .
  22. Its probably to run the msd ingnition. It uses a battery to make the spark and a pickup coil just tells it when the time has come to fire. Inboard drag pipes ?
