  1. Get in Line...buddy. Or...Jeff...just make the check out to "The Original Dave Germain" and send it to MY address....Ha ha ha.... :yelrotflmao:
  2. Dayum...Mike. That price is a steal.... You can't touch a complete bike with a cub for that much, let alone a very nice looking ride! Free Bumpski...
  3. Happy b-day Denny. Have a few for me... Hopefully, you don't get too many "Combo" gifts since it's so close to Christmas...LOL....
  4. Sorry...I looked at E2S for a very short time. There is simply too many people giving advice there that have no business posting info... That site is a joke..IMO. Let me rephrase... The only forum there I spent any real time was in the banshee sub forum...yeah, it's a joke. EvilTwin (rocketboy) here is pretty sharp and knowledgeable, and there are a very few others...but, that's about it.
  5. But what happened to this big baller, high class high dollar multi million dollar flooring company. Surely he can afford a few bones for a fellow member, I mean...he did flash all those hundo's on the table in that other post, right? Like I said in that post, too....those Franklins are his just like the stack of gold bricks I posted are mine... What a total ass clown.... But, to be honest, I'd actually be surprised if Lee banned him, he normally waits just so users can close business affairs before he cuts the account. It **Might** be just more BS on his end...(Like he has no comeback for NYUK or others here...tail between is vag lips) Kudos to John for calling his punk ass out, glad it's not over a HUGE sum of money, and yes...it's all about the principal.... Good luck!
  6. Incorrect....it does not get sucked back into the radiator... it serves as an over flow only....
  7. Those two riding styles are on total opposite ends of the spectrum...so, you need to decide which you're gonna do more. Trail, T5s. Drag, CPIs. I honestly think T5 will be a much better all around fit for your mods. They make good power, period. Their fit and finish is fantastic. However, you'll lose a few HP on top end to the CPIs. A few HP on top end means squat on trails, it means everything in drag racing....next to setup, of course. So...there you go...
  8. Man...that's awesome. Nothing like burning the midnight oil and gettin r done...oh, wait, you're west coast boys. Hell, it's only 6PM out there... Good looking deal so far. I'm jealous, I want a PV motor... Remember, you're only get the few extra HP if you match the color spark plugs to the proper power band... :yelrotflmao: I want some vids of that bad boy running already!!
  9. Travis... If I didn't have to worry about sparkies, etc. at the dunes, I'd love to try some outta frame GRR...but, it is what it is. I said I wasn't going to do it...but, when I get a 450 for the trails, I'm gonna go all our drag on my shee, which...will probably mean out of frames. We shall see!!
  10. I thought I was done with my cub after the crank and jugs, pistons and head came to my door. next thing I knew... Carbs, pipes...all new igntion, including the flywheel (it was bad) Marvin Shaws Now, I'm going alky, lockup, override, even LONGER swinger, cut frame, etc... It's a sickness....I tell ya.... Welcome to the support group.
  11. Ha ha ha....good one. Don't worry, someone will chime in saying (I painted my plugs and it gained .5 HP on the dyno...
  12. I love those PVs...I honestly think my next motor will either be a 10 mil cub or 535 cheetah PV...still not sure. I'm gonna see what kind of numbers my lil 421 cub can turn out this year..... What kind of head is that, BTW? Nice work, Handyman...looks very nice! How bout a ride report when you get done. I'd like to see how it does up against Kai's bikes, they run well from the vids I've seen!!!
  13. I would agree...IF he has the coin. Even though a 4 mil crank is drop in, the cylinders will have to be ported properly (timings changed, etc.) I think we both agree a spacer plate is NOT the way to go...as well as the head being machined to accept the taller crown height. Including the price of the crank, rewelded (Good idea to reweld even a brand new hot rod crank) and machine work on the head, if you tear it all down and assemble it yourself could probably add another 600 or so bills onto the tab. I also prefer a maxload or TZ bearing on the PTO side of the crank, as well...another 45 or 50 beans. SoCal... You are always going to fight this battle. I can do this...or, for just this much more, I can do this...Too. Fighting it right now myself...
  14. Well Put, Travis. I carefully and purposely did not personally bash Odaen. And, in fact on this forum AND in PM's I told him I respected his knowledge and help, but we'll just have to agree to disagree. One thing is for sure, I'm very glad this didn't turn into a TRUE bitch fest, name calling, tough guy typing and personal insults.... Yeah, he dug at Jeff a bit, but...it could be much worse. I asked Jeff how my cub would run with T5s and stock carbs... He just kinda chuckled and said...shit, I couldn't tell you. the cub motors I build are bigger carbs and CPI or Shearer pipes... Hell, that was honest, and appreciated. Side note, Travis... I always thought you ran Grand River stuff on your bike? No? One thing is for sure...that thing still makes me drool...it sure is suwheet lookin!
  15. Around...as always!! How've ya been? Actually, I've just finished off several lagging and time consuming projects at work, haven't been on quite as much...but, I'm back to being bored now....LOL...
  16. Shhh...I'm huntin wabbit..... They were made for dunes no doubt...just about every year Yamaha's PR material and media shows someone carving a dune and slinging sand. I wish I could meet the guy who started the idea of putting an RZ motor in a 4 wheeler, I'd buy him a beer and a lapdance....
  17. The gerbil falls in and falls out I'm sure...like a Kid Rock said about Pam Anderson, like throwing a hot dog down a hallway....
  18. Mike...that carbon fiber tank piece looks absolutely killer!! Nice looking ride...free bumpski.
  19. I'm thinking it might be time for not only that port job you're talkin bout, but maybe some more pipe for top end power. If you're gonna dune more than drag race, get CPIs, drag more than Dune, Shearer pipes. It's been my belief through research and talking to quite a few folks in the know, that CPIs will make power over a broader RPM range and come on sooner, but...Shearer will make More overall power, but in a higher RPM and a shorter RPM spread. The fit and functionality of the Shearer over the CPI is hands down better...but, it's the torque/hp curve suited for your riding conditions that will tell the tale in the end. Good thing is, those T5 pipes are still worth good money used, helping to offset the cost of new pipes. What about a good ignition and timing advance...that helps the low to mid end power for duning as well.
  20. How did you check it?
  21. Get a timing plate to advance the timing, a lightened flywheel...and some VForce reeds. Jeff @ FAST is blowing them out the door for 189.99. You won't touch VForce 3 for close to that anywhere else. Those mods will really change how your bike runs and the power comes on...trust me.
  22. Worth 1300 bucks + for a set of 12 port cylinders, pistons and a spacer plate??? This guy should lay off the booze before he lists on ebay... :shoothead:
  23. 330 will definitely get you close. Ran 340s in mine, T5 pipes, Pods...a few other bolt on odds and ends.
  24. I ran 6 over link before. Going to a 14 over no link now....and a whole lot of other mods, too. Will probably have to add 100 or so lbs of Nitrogen when I get it back together.... What, no pics? C'mon!!! Yep, John Sefarian is a treat to talk to, helluva good guy for our sport.
