  1. No...No...NO. Not even close. Get Wiseco Prolites....
  2. Not trying to be a jerk...merely trying to help. That's a helluva price. But, there are three styles of wiring harnesses... 87-94 95-96 97 and up... Just wanted to help you clarify...(I have the bastard 96 year... )
  3. Less bend, free flow...
  4. Less bend, free flow...
  5. While I'm not trying to take anything away from Kenny Roberts, his accomplishments speak for themselves... I can't see what all the hype is about a pipe that doesn't exist yet...
  6. I think alky...and a few people offered to buy them with Paypal. I don't think he accepts paypal....
  7. I'll take that challenge, only if the winner buys beer... (I like bud light...) LOL. Don, JT, Brady and I all are very, very close in racing. Brady has a stock stroke cub, JT a 4 mil and I have a 10. Without knowing what is in our bikes, you'd swear they were the same damn motor...4 mils run, that's all there is to it!!! Nobody spends mony on planetsand. Your best bet, which I'm sure you're already doing, is advertise it for sale at the races....the numbers speak for themselves...
  8. I don't like banshees...didn't you read the poll? I'd rather get naked and ride my dog....LOL. Bruce...it's all good. If I didn't bust your ballz once in a while who would? You know I respect you and your knowledge....
  9. I'm pretty sure I can read....your memory going a little south? Maybe I read it wrong, but...it is what it is... There were good running triple ports out there before lockouts? C'mon...say it ain't so... I'm sure they just used extra clutch plates, different baskets, and STIFF as all hell clutch springs....where there's a will there's a way I guess... There are also a lot more reasons to need a lockup than just HP as well. Rider weight, riding surfaces, extended clutch life, etc. play a part as well.
  10. Bruce...no offense... But you probably haven't seen a good running OEM cylinder on alky. "round here, A&S, RDZ and the old GRR motors would be pretty useless without a lockup and override... Those guys push mid to upper 90s on stock bore/stroke motors on methanol, and they move out. However, on that note as well... My 4 mil cub on gas last year didn't slip with Jeff from FAST's clutch and 6HD springs. It was 95ish on HP. It sure didn't shift worth a shit, though... For the price of a 8 or 9 disk hinson basket setup, you could buy a forged basket (aftermarket other than hinson) a lockout clutch AND a lockout cover for cheaper...
  11. Yep...I'm with snop. Add some timing and a tad of compression... Still won't be a 4 stroke, but will much more manageable in tight/slower trails... I wonder... Has anyone actually tried porting on a set of T6 pipes? Didn't think so.... Everyone just keep relaying what they read on the Internet. Since this guy says low to mid power, I'm just going to have to assume he's not a duner or drag racer. That being said, T6 are a great pipe with stock or mild porting. Aggressive dune or drag porting are better suited for T5s, but then again...CPI, Trinity or Shearer are a better choice for a duner/drag motor anyways....
  12. PM MajicMike. He sells inserts for do it yourself lockup covers. He also sells lockups...
  13. And where is "over here'?
  14. Sudco.com, carbparts.com or magic racing if your dealer doesn't have them. I read your other post...about having problems. Buy an assortment of jets, start big. Get jets from 175 to 195 if you want my opinion...start rich.
  15. Put the head with 50 on and be done. It's not that high to where I'd worry about it.
  16. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say 80 or more. However, once you're in that range, you need tranny mods as well.
  17. Simple... You will never, ever feel or see 2HP where it counts. On a track, any track, period. It was snowmobile guys that said they fouled them out all the time. What is the reason it advanced the timing 2 degrees?
  18. Post positive proof...and you'll be the messiah of spark plugs. Until then...not a single person, young or old, newbie or pro, believes you... You say you know it works? Ok....fine, prove it.
  19. Hey...I treat my guests right...just hope I don't get Crunchy for you guys next time....
  20. If you're gonna go crazy with a stroker motor, then yes... Unless you don't ever plan on shifting the bike while it's under any kind of power.
  21. Negative... One more trip to the dunes this year, and the strip....that's it for me... Unless my parents can stay at my house to watch the dogs, I don't go anywhere... Long story, kinda personal...but, I'm more addicted to them than these bikes... Don't worry, Jeff...I'm just gonna surprise you one day and show up...and the work will have to wait cause we'll have riding to do!
  22. Cylinder, crank, pistons, big bore domes cut, override tranny, lockup clutch, longer swingarm, better pipes, new intakes, bigger carbs. Better tires, longer chain, longer brake line...stiffer/revalved suspension. That's enough to get your head to swell....if you're committed, that's where it starts.
  23. Talk to Brady080. He has a bare, raw...never used Tyson 10 or 12 over arm. Forgot which...he was selling it dirt cheap...but, he wasn't 100% sure about selling it. I'm sure you could convince him...
  24. 3 to 4 grand to do it right.
  25. Damn...homie. 45 front? YOu gonna have John Force pull start you ....LOL. That thing's gonna pass a "busa....LOL. 15 tooth, I know, just funnin with you. I don't think you're going to want to go larger than a 45 rear once you put 15 on the front.
