  1. Pull the carbs and intakes off, look for broken/melted or chipped off reeds.
  2. As long as someone sells whipcream for horseshit, someone will buy it... Boost bottle that is. I'd get a timing advance plate (35 plus shipping) vs a timing key...the timing does work, and work well for inexpensive as it is... The plate is just adjustable....and it will never shear.
  3. syclone, you've got PM.
  4. Amen....setup is everything. My 10 mil cub is getting spanked by a 4 mil cub...(.1 to .2 seconds) I have a lighter bike, but I'm a heavier rider...so...weight kinda equals out. Fouledout420 has a McCoy 4 mil that rips....he set it up just like Nate told him to, and he's been doing NOTHING but getting seat time on the bike...and it is very impressive for what it is... Granted, he's got more seat time than I do, and I'm still in the tuning process of mine, he's got that bike moving for sure... Setup is everything....
  5. On a side note... Please tell me the degree key and boost bottle in your sig are a joke....

  7. A picture or two will help you as well. PM me if I can help you post a few up!!
  8. Jon's a great seller and good guy to do business with, free bump for a good seller! Dan...too bad that guy is dragging you on your arms, you could get these local and save the hassle for yourself, I'd even meet up with Jon to pick them up for you....
  9. Best part is it sold for 1050. He could've got more with a complete banshee engine in there. No electric start for a 600CC 4 stroke? Are you kidding me?
  10. If Pro Power Ski is going to mill AND rechamber your head for 20 bucks cheaper, than have them do it.
  11. I'm going to write her.... If you can produce 16K in receipts for the banshee, I will personally drive to OR and pick them up with a check for 20K and drive them home... Not only are they stock....they are filthy as all fuck.... What the hell is wrong with people... Yeah, I had to do it...wrote her this. I bet she's a divorcee with no clue (probably why she's single in the first place...) If you can show me 16k in receipts for that banshee, I will personally drive from MI to OR with a check for 20K. It's an absolute stock bike, and a filthy one at that. Please learn to describe this sort of stuff more accurately...
  12. Looks like you're mailing two out now....
  13. Yep, you're right..my bad. They normally come with the pin, you pay for the bearing...I had it back asswards...
  14. Yes...I truly do. Rocky Mountain ATV is cheap...but you have to order everything separately, and I think it's the same price... This kit comes with everything you need, except coolant and someone to come over and put it together for you... Every gasket, seal, etc. AND new wrist pins and bearings....most piston kits come with new rings and pistons, but often don't include the pin itself along with the bearing.
  15. I've been going there for 15 years plus. They're more dirt bike than quad guys...and quite a few of them are arrogant pricks. Don't get me wrong, there is a few cool helpful dudes too...but, trust me...it ain't gonna happen. They do 80% of their business via mail order through ATV and Dirt Bike Magazines, they don't need to give discounts.... You can try...I just know the guys and know the store... Good luck!!!
  16. Nope...and if you mention Banshee HQ they'll probably laugh at you... They've got good Internet pricing on a few things, top end kits happens to be one of them. A wise man once said,"you can go broke trying to save money..." It's very true.
  17. WRONG. A longer rod is used in conjunction with a piston that has a higher wrist pin height (795 series or blaster pistons) It lessens the rod angle on the piston...lessening the stress of it trying to push the piston through the side of the cylinder. A crank shaft that has an offset from stock location for the rod journal pin is a stroker crank. If it is 2mm off set vs. the stock location, it is a 4 mil stroker crank (2mm on Top Dead Center, 2mm on Bottom Dead Center)
  18. Yeah...those accelerator pumps play hell jetting those four strokes, damn near makes it impossible to read a plug!!!
  19. Hell..I'll even give you the page... http://www.magicracing.com/Wiseco-Piston-K..._p_133-135.html Used to be 159, they raised it....sorry...
  20. It does in fact increase velocity... Bernouli principle...or something like that. I'm not about to pretend to be Einstein, but...when air tries to travel from a larger space to a smaller space...it increases velocity... I'll pick up that Nobel Prize now for my philosophies.... LOL.. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  21. See what I can do for you... Good to see you up and at 'em again. NYUK and Minkia38 are the junk collectors/salvage yards specialists over on this board....you might want to PM them and see if they have anything for ya...
  22. For that price....you still need to get all the gaskets, etc. For 159 plus shipping...you get everything you need for a name that everyone uses, Wiseco Prolites, from Magic Racing.
  23. Whenever you ask what kind of oil, what premix, what builder, porting, gearing, tires, air pressure, blonde, brunette, big rack, small rack, muff, clean shaven.... You're always going to get opinions, in essence...here it is: (Stole it from PS...too good not to use)
  24. Are you looking for cylinders only, or a crank too? What kind of work was done on this 14 mil? Who did the work? How much time is on the motor?? Are you selling the cases too? How much $ are you looking to get?
  25. Move to Michigan, I'm pretty sure we still have the highest obesity rate in the country...the good lookin skinny hoes are imported...LOL... We don't know what bicycles are.
