Yep, I agree...dune ported 4 mil. Make sure whomever is going to port them knows you intend on putting a 4 mil crank, and have them cut either your stock head or get a cool head with stroker domes to top the package off. Dune ported 4 mil is a BIG step up from what you have now...and your pipes will work just fine. T5s down the road, no big deal...but don't be concerned with that right now....the 6's will work just fine.

Tell you what, I'm liking Forrest Griffen more and more, he is very well spoken and humble. I like watching Roger Huerta fight too.. I've only been into MMA, mostly the last 4 years or so.... Tell you a lightweight that is impressive to me, he fights in the Extreme Cage fighting, he's called the California Kid... Funky name, but I watched him fight on HD Net..(HD Channel on my ATT UVerse)...he is brilliant and a helluva fighter. Urijah Faber is his name, if you can watch him fight in one of the less known MMA orgs., watch him. Impressive!!

You're on the border of adjustment for that air screw. Try 27.5 pilots with 2.0 turns out... I would think if the head is installed wrong, an oring was pinched, etc., you'd know by now...

That Sanchez/Kos fight was the most boring thing I ever saw... The whole fight I was waiting for Diego to explode....he just sat there like a deer in head lights. BOOORING... If they're moving on the ground, throwing shot...dropping elbows...hey, no prob. But when they switch from partial man hug to full man hug...boooring.... I still like Swick... Bunches of punches....

I agree with you guys 100%, especially about the boring to watch ground games. I FULLY understand how much skill, strength and stamina it takes for a good ground/submission game, but it can be boring to watch. I'm sure if we were in the ring we'd think otherwise...LOL... One of the reasons I like watching the ice man, very little ground, usually trade blows standing up to see who is on their feet last. I think Chuck did a little too much partying and not enough training against Jardine...but there you go, as said, ANYONE can win on a given day. Perfect example...Diego Sanchez. I think he was 18-0...and got real, REAL cocky. Kos handed it to him, fought smart (unfortunately, KOS is just as much or more so cocky...) And Sanchez lost his next fight, too... Kimbo is very soft spoken and has a good heart...I agree. You have to root for a guy like that... To this day, Cro Cop is the biggest disappointment in my mind...I'm a big fan of his from the PRIDE series, I think he's still getting used to the Octagon. I'll take a stand up, rock 'em sock 'em fight all day every day, but...take downs and submissions are a BIG part of the game, it gives the smarter fighter the advantage over the stronger fighter....in that aspect.

I concur...tough SOB. It's on it's fourth season (just the beginning of) for me, and I'm going to retire it because it's deserved the right to retire.... From a stocker motor w/ bolt ons, 4 mil cub on gas, 10 mil cub on alky....it's a great clutch. Also...for 50 bucks, get new inner and outer hub, if you have the extra cheddar, get a Magnum billet basket from Jeff as well. Money well spent to get power to the ground. Kevin can tell you if you need 3 HD springs and 3 stockers, or to use all 6 HD springs his kit comes with. And then take the Raptor plastic off your shee for an extra 2 to 5 HP.... :biggrin: :biggrin:

Stock pilots are fine for your setup... Buy main jets only. Get a pair of 240, 250, 260 and 270. When you remove the lid, get 280 and 290 as well.

70ish. You have a 13 on front, stock is 14... On a bone stock bike, and I mean BONE STOCK, I hit 73 or 74MPH in the 1/4 mile (I was tapped before the 1/8 mile mark) I removed the fenders on the bike and picked up 3 MPH. It doesn't matter what stock is....it's about gearing, tire size and HP to pull gearing to go faster..... According to the calculator, if you rev out to 9000 or 9500 with your tire size and gearing, you'll top out between 69 and 72 MPH. Put the 14 tooth back on front and gain 4 or 5 MPH.....

Like I said here, roughly 7% gain in HP/Torque over stock once it's matched and setup properly...yes, you'll notice. It's not going to turn your bike from a 70 mile an hour bike to a 120MPH bike...but it will be noticeable, easier to ride...and more responsive.
