  1. Check ebay, craigslist and local classified in your area to get an idea what it's worth...
  2. Here's my advice. If it's less than a year old and you can prove it, it's under warranty. Otherwise, throw it out, get an OEM replacement stator in case the one you have fails. RS used to be good stuff...not so the case anymore. I think spec on one side is 17, the other is 117. They should be 100 off from each other, +/- 2 Ohms I believe....
  3. Off topic...but does the X Box update itself automatically over the net? My Wii does, just had to connect it wirelessly and put the WEP Key in. Of course it can be used for online play, etc....but was just wondering if that was a feature as well.
  4. Should be safely rich. 48 to 52 pilots. 148 to 152 mains. You'll have to fine tune from there....once you can ride it somewhere... On the bigger carbs for gas, CEL is a good needle. However, I'm unsure on the smaller carbs.
  5. Well said...aside from being dangerous and "Jackass part 3" worthy....LOL. Seriously...you're better off and safer not trying that... If you give us your list of mods, elevation, riding temps, etc. We can probably get you safely close. If all else fails, go rich. Worst thing that is gonna happen is foul a 4 dollar set of plugs....
  6. Fair enough... As said, like you, I can only state my experiences as well...
  7. When you add bigger carbs and free flowing exhaust, it will move the power up in the RPMs. I think 39's and Shearers will be a poor choice for you based on what you want to do, and what you don't want to lose. However... I think a set of Trinity pipes or Toomey T5s with some 33 or 35 PWK carbs would give you a nice boost without too much loss of bottom end.
  8. Fair enough... Just stating from my own experience as well with a few different motor configs, as well as a few buddies of mine, JT and Brent... Out of curiousity, have you tried the clutch kit you're selling without a lockup to see if it faired any better?
  9. All of the above....except the textured steels, on the FAST clutch anywho. I can't speak of the RJ kit...
  10. RJ...we talked about this... I had a very potent 4 mil cub with no lockout, and it's the same clutch I'm using now on it's 4th year. Your problem wasn't a lockout either...it was worn or mis-adjusted components, or cheap clutch kit. With the override you have, it only makes sense to get a lockout...but, I still strongly disagree that you need an lockup for a 4 mil stock cylinder bike if it's not going to be a strict drag race bike. A FAST clutch with HD springs held in my 4 mil cub just fine, JT's clutch has held up over the test of time, too...
  11. You've already started shopping with Jeff, keep going. Get his Clutch, it's the toughest SOB I've seen.
  12. Any reason you're not using Aircraft paint remover to get rid of the paint? yeah, started to polish my cub this weekend, what a PITA for sure!!!
  13. With stock porting...45ish....
  14. I haven't gotten mine yet, and I'm in NO hurry. My motor is in a million pieces. It'll be a few months, but...I'll post it up, no worries.
  15. Drill and tap them to put the idle kits in them.
  16. Bon Bon...we worked it out via PMs. It's all good. We all jump the gun, myself included. I've asked her to view my post and if she sees fit, I'll have it taken down. She had the Shout taken down...as well.
  17. Mine were PC'd with studs in. Hell...the Powder guy even PC'd the outers of my cases, clutch and flywheel side. Get the razor out....LOL. But PC'd cases are tight...finish it up with a stainless kit homie.
  18. Apparently I'm the pot stirrer now. I'd reply back in their shoutbox, but I'm not subscribing to the site until the search is fixed and working... I guess a mod on PS can come over here and cuss and tel us to stay over here. If I say otherwise, I'm a pot stirrer, and have showed my true colors... Mrs.Sunni, if you're reading this and not getting sick, read your PM. Do what you want with it. But the second I post in General it'll get deleted or locked. So...fair is fair. Hmmm site is down. Must be my fault...somehow.
  19. If that doesn't work out, PM our boy Johnny NYUK or Ray (minkia38) I know minkia does, here they are. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Banshee-CAS...sspagenameZWDVW
  20. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...674&hl=tors As promised...
  21. Texas...you're not helping our case.
  22. Yes...and the other side of that coin is warpage on the cases. PA Matt...did you do anything special afterwards to check for flatness, or did you get..."lucky"...
  23. Glad TNT decided to come over here and stir the pot, then go back to PS and whine in the shoutbox. Apparently we're not nice over here... And of course you have to subscribe to use the shoutbox.
  24. Buy a new set of cases... They're never right after you pop them bottom studs. For the cost to fix 'em right, you could have used cases in good shape.
  25. About 2 seconds with an impact gun once it's tight...LOL.
