  1. Bad ASS!!! give us some details...motor, gearing...etc. Sounds damn good! You have some kind of ignition interrupt on that?
  2. Stock is 35mm... Banshee or Raptor....or newer Blasters (I think 01, 02 or 03...can't remember)
  3. Hit up Minkia38. He has a LOT of frames, depends on if you want a title for it or not...and you can pick it up. He's in the New Haven or Chesterfield area...
  4. You just aint' right....
  5. If it's in front of the slide, it's called a fuel screw, behind...it's an air screw. Stock carbs have an air screw and it's on the bottom left side if you were sitting on the bike, below the fuel inlet...just above where the bowl meets the carb body.
  6. Wiseco Clearances...
  7. I'm reading the same thing you are. They're also saying if you backup your time within 1.5%, it's legit. So...3.76 and 3.78 backup is less than 1%. Until they can positively proove otherwise, the times stand. Now if he ran a 3.76 then a 4.0..yeah, that'd be a problem. I should be able to tell by the time slips when he gets back if they're legit. Beam jumping screams high reaction time and low 60 foot time. Because the track hooks much better than our tracks, they put a wheelie bar on it and Frank is a MUCH better pilot than I am, let alone around 80 to 100 lbs less...I have no reason to think otherwise.... HERE IS VIDEO OF THE 3.76 PASS! http://x.cursedsanctuary.com/
  8. As long as my bike is running good, I normally like to make a few passes myself first, I let a lot of people ride my bike...once they've proven they know the difference between a drain plug and a spark plug...LOL> I'm sure you understand. Our friend bansheedan is as light or lighter than that. I appreciate the offer, but...to be honest, it's cool to see how fast a lighter ride can get a fat kid's bike to go...but, It's my bike. I'd like it to run respectable times with me on it (which, compared to the other similar builds we race/run against, it has) When it comes to a selling point, I can post the low times from a jockey...but I'll always include what the fat boy times are too for comparison...and NO, it's not for sale....just giving an example.. I don't hide anything or lie about it. It's just racing, it's supposed to be fun....
  9. Yep...that was always the plan!! I don't see myself getting into the 3's in MI. No way. However... I need to get a bar on it and let Frank ride it here...see how it compares to Gilbert. I'd be willing to bet he could put a 3.9 down... I was gonna port it and put a new clutch in, to be honest, I'm almost afraid to touch a single thing!!
  10. Thank you...I am very happy. I got a few more details from someone there who talked to a buddy up here... 3.76 with a 3.78 backup, and it did have a bar on. I'm still WAY more than happy about that. Only way I could be happier is if I was there.
  11. Clean it up, make sure it runs good...and replace the rear tires. If you don't make some money off that...I'd be severely disappointed. KBB Retail around here is 5125. Put an hour or two cleaning it up...100 bucks in tires. You should be able to pocket 1000 to 1800 no problem.
  12. And that's why I called him. I know you were having problems keeping Orings in yours....
  13. Sorry...just had to...LOL.
  14. C. All of the above...LOL.
  15. Frank is 10X a better jockey than me...no doubt. That track is faster than ours...that's for sure. I did purge it real good with 20:1 Super T before it left....oh, and I fixed the fuel leak on the carb so it stopped dumping fuel out the overflows....LOL. You know I ain't hiding nothing. Bike is as you remember it...but... Slingshot lockup with both ball bearings, new intakes....no crossover, and spindle mounts. And a Chariot head with domes cut by back country. They squished out at .055 and .057. I thought that was a bit much, I'm thinking they're just fine!! Homie...it's gotta be the shoes...LOL.
  16. Found my jockey!! Frank ripped a 3.76 and backed it with a 3.75 yesterday. I don't know the MPH or 60ft time yet. I don't know if he ran with or without a bar.... Even so, in a stock cut frame...with or without a wheelie bar...I will take that. I was hoping 3.9999... I owe my buddy a beer!!!
  17. Our friend had a similar sound. Ended up having a shattered clutch plates. For the cost of a gasket and tranny fluid, that's where I'd start.
  18. Word... 100% fair and honest, sometimes too much because he could lose money and time. In all my dealings with Shayne, they've been 100% legit, exactly as described....and more than timely.
  19. Just a sleeved cylinder. Not a sleeve inside a sleeve. they bore the cylinder out, heat it up, then put the sleeve in place and let it cool. They didn't take the time to clean up the skirts....but no biggie.
  20. Since you can't build one to do it all... 4 mil Cheetah PV motor for dunes, playing around....on gas. 18 mil twister or DM for the strip.
  21. One way to find out. Race him. Too many variables...
  22. You pinch it in towards the cylinder it'll melt in no time.
  23. The wrong kinds. Viton orings are the way to go...it's what is supplied with any aftermarket head. It's possible it got pinched upon installation, shit happens.
  24. Get a clymers, and a flywheel removal tool from the dealer or ebay. DO NOT USE A JAW TYPE PULLER ON A BANSHEE FLYWHEEL. A screw on puller that pushes against the crank to pop off the flywheel is the correct type, they're 10 to 20 bucks.
  25. Generally speaking, timing and compression changes don't warrant a big change in jetting. However, after any mod...you should always check to be sure.
