Hey, have you been watching ebay for parts from your bike? Do you live by a big truck stop? Watch craiglist and forums for pieces of your bike. If you think it may be someone you know, try posting a reward. So-called "friends" are usually dirty enough to turn somebody in for money. I think the most common trick is buying a frame titled in your state, switching everything over, and selling it to someone local for cheap. Keep your motor # handy and if you see one that looks like yours at your local riding spot, check it out. I probably wouldn't suggest running up on people, but casually going over, offering up a beer, and look real close while complimenting the guy on his bike should work. A dog only goes so far to prevent theft- a thick chain(sunk in 2 ft hole filled with concrete), a good lock, and a enclosed shelter-garage, shed- should be a better theft prevention technique. Anyways, good luck on the dog and remember, Eukanuba isn't getting any cheaper, especially if it's a big dog. The wolf eats 50+ pounds a week and he only weighs about 85 pounds.

I'd say go with a timberwolf if you've already owned a hybrid. They're extremely loyal, intimidating as hell to the average person, and are generally really intelligent. I chain the shee to the kennel with a 2 in. thick trucker chain and a real lock, haven't had any problems yet. Wolves seem to have memories like elephants, I had a buddy that kicked him when he was 6 mo. and he remembered him 5 yrs. later. The main thing you need to remember is if you introduce somebody to the dog, the dog will usually connect that person with you. Since most quads seem to be stolen by people that know you, watch who you introduce the dog to.

I think he's asking a fair price no matter what's on the sales receipt. They're stil going for 8-900 around here and if I had the money, I'd buy it for 6 and sell it for 9. This guy was great to deal with when I bought a frame off of him and I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything else from him. Thanks for the frame and good luck with the sale.

Hey, good luck on the blue plastics. They get stress marks as soon as they get a bunch of mud on them. If you want blue and want them to stay looking good, you should probably get Maiers. I have some blue fenders, but they have stress marks. They were new and lasted about 1 ride before they started showing the white lines.

Get some Ourys and hondabond grip glue. With some handguards, you don't even need gloves in the summer.

My shee is ported, cool head with 19cc domes, k&n filter, and t-4 pipes at 1000 ft. I run a 62 pilot, DEK needle on the 4th clip down and a 235-240 main. If you have problems getting it dialed in, pm rocketpig. He's the online tech guy? for trinity racing and was able to tell me where to start on the jetting which ended up being very close to where it is now. The best part of the single carb is the ease of jetting it, loosen the big bolt on the bowl and you can change mains in about a minute. Good luck and when I went to vforce 2 reeds from boysen, I had to go up a size on the main, everything else was fine.

Check your reeds and intake boots. I had a boost bottle (came with the bike) that kept ripping the intake boot, wouldn't start without the choke on and I had to kick it 10-20 times. Once I fixed the intake boot and went back to the stock crossflow tube, the reeds went bad-same problem. Pull the reeds and look, if there is any gap between the reeds and the cage, flip them over or get new ones. Also, you have to look really close or take the intake boots off and look while pushing the little hole to see the cracks. I figured the ripped boot thing out the hard way, burned piston on the left, found the crack while tearing it down.

The banshee hubs go right on a blaster axle, the banshee axle won't fit a 02 and older blaster carrier, and the banshee axle makes a blaster 3in. wider. You can rig the banshee carrier into a blaster swingarm but it'll move around. Find a 03+blaster carrier and supposedly the banshee axle slides right in.

Try these guys-http://www.carbparts.com/index.html or http://www.sudco.com/ I personally use the carb parts warehouse as they are only 30 minutes from where I live or if stuff is shipped it's here the next day. Also, their customer service and advice on setup is awesome. If they don't have it, sudco will, but sometimes their customer service is pretty subpar.

Hey, you could find a fedex or ups hub and it'd be a lot cheaper than a ups store. Also, fedex ground is usually 1/2 or less the cost of ups or usps. Just thought that may help you sell some of your stuff and I get tired of seeing the ups stores rip people off(went to ship motor 120 through a ups store, 42 and change through fedex ground).

I believe they are mx race arms no longer made by denton since they are caster and camber adjustable. They take a while to set up unlike solid upper a-arms, but are infinitely more adjustable.
-
I have some banshee chrome denton racing +2+1 a-arms with +2 tie rods for sale. They are currently listed on ebay, however I'll stop the auction to sell them to a HQer. Your current spindles would need reamed, or I'll sell the arms with spindles for 350. I have a extra nib ball joint for these that I'll include also. The ball joints have zerks on them, are available from Autozone, and are made pretty tough. The bushings on the bottom a-arms are in good shape, as are the heim joints on the top a-arms. Here is a link to the auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 Also, for 2500 you can take the whole bike(ported, pd, trinity,v-force2). Thanks for looking.

I have a 95 Banshee for sale with a clear OH title. It is currently listed on ebay- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 A full list of modifications and aftermarket parts can be seen on the listing. I haven't dyno'ed it yet, the 70hp number is from the engine builder who has dyno'ed similar setups and arrived at that figure. I know I can get my neighbors zx6 from a dead stop to around 90(6th gear pinned) on a chip and seal country road. If interested, give me a call at 330-644-9252, pm me, or make a offer of 2500 through ebay saying you saw it on the HQ, and it's yours. The quad is stored in Smithville, OH 44677 and I could probably deliver it to Wellsville or anyplace else within 100 miles of Smithville. I also have a 04 400ex bought new in Feb. of 05 for sale for 3600 or best. Pics of both can be found here. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/[email protected]/ph//my_photos I'd also consider 1500 cash and a trade of a working platable vehicle for the difference.

Hey, just got the axle today. It's in great shape and I appreciate the amp link you threw in. If anybody is looking to buy stuff from this guy, I highly recommend him as a seller. The parts are in good shape at a great price. Thanks again.

Shipping seems to be 100-125 to a residential address in u.s. via fedex ground. Let me know a specific zip code and if you have a business address to ship to and I could get a more precise quote. Also, the forks are slightly tweaked(I don't really notice) and there is some jb weld on the right side cover(doesn't leak oil).
-
Ok, blew the car up tonight so first $250 gets it. I may be able to disassemble and ship via fedex ground, but would prefer local pickup.

I have some black aftermarket pipes, not sure what they are but look the same as some chrome t4s I bought. I'll sell the black ones for 65 shipped and the chrome t4s for 75 shipped. That is just for the pipes, no silencers, not sure if stock will bolt on or not. The black ones pull decent off the bottom, hit hard in the mid, and have decent overrev. Let me know.

I'm in Barberton, Ohio. I'll have to pass on the j-arm frame. I was thinking more of a aftermarket rear or front set of shocks, pipes, round housing swinger, set of 30mm or bigger carbs, high output stator, oversized raidiator or gas tank, or any combination of this stuff or any aftermarket 400 parts.
-
Nobody needs a pitbike? Hook a towrope to a funny car and it'll keep up with a banshee. I'll trade it for 400ex parts as well, or anything interesting.
-
I have a 96 Honda Z 50 for sale or trade. It's in good shape, runs great, 3spd. auto, one side cover has been jb welded but doesn't leak, and the kill switch is broke. I want 350 obo or I'll trade it for some dmcs, t5s, or cpi or shearer inframes, or I'll throw in some works for +2 arms with the bike for some elkas for +2 arms.

This guy is a awesome seller. Parts were exactly as described, packaged nicely, and were shipped superfast. Thanks.

I also have some nerf bars for sale for 60 shipped in the U.S. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/[email protected]?.dir=f4c4 Here is a link with some pictures.

I have a +4 swinger with a carrier I'll sell for 130 shipped anywhere in the u.s. It doesn't have the tabs for a skidplate and is in very good condition. I'm not sure how good the carrier bearings are, but they turn by hand fairly smoothly. I'll try to get pics tomorrow. I also have some 96 white front and back fenders in pretty good shape for 50+shipping, some 20 in. holeshots on blaster rims for 50+shipping, and some 22 in. mud machines on 8in. blaster wheels with blaster hubs for 100+shipping. I take paypal and postal money order.

Do you have aftermarket pipes? They cost some money, but make the most noticable difference. Take the airbox lid off, mill the head, advance the timing, and find a used k&n with outerwear. I have some black toomey T-4s I'll sell you for 50 if you still have stock pipes. Good luck with it.

Question about Trinity 2 into 1 Carb kit...
j28d replied to FOXBANSHEE30's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Well, I usually have to tip the airbox up to get the carb to come off. Then there are 8 allen screws that hold it onto the motor. There are 4 hidden underneath the rubber intake boot.
