That's what I thought-the cable should be shorter after the split, but when I called cpw, they said it was the right cable and that the slides are supposed to stick out a little. I was under the impression that they should be totally out of the way at wot. I don't have a set of stockers to look at laying around, but I think they pull all the way up also. I guess I'll try calling keihin tomorrow and asking them. I hate it when brand new stuff is f'ed up before it's even installed. Thanks for the reply.

Ok, I bought some 30mm carbs from cpw with a thumb throttle cable. The slides won't go all the way up unless I have the cable on top of the adjusters and the adjusters all the way out. I called them and they said that this was normal? I switched to these from a 35pwk single and I seem to remember the slide went all the way up on the pwk. Cpw then told me that there wasn't enough room to pull the slides all the way in, and a 35 pwk has more room. Having been able to pull the slides up, I thought this was b.s. Anyways, should I put washers or some kind of spacer in the adjusters, or just let the slides block the bore about 1/2 in. on the big side? Thanks for any help or advice.

Hey, they only made tri z's in 85 and 86. If the yellow and black plastic is original, it should be a 85. 86 was white and red.

Well, I'm readomg ths after drinking a 12 pack in 2 hours and I have to say, why aren't more stories about riding? I live in OH and just had my buddy say why do you want to ride? Well, I'm buzzed and used kings english, after typing the same wrong shit 12-15 times. I ride in wellsville, OH's tougher spot and can't wait to try some more hills after the damm 30 degree weather stops. The craziest thing I've tried, and I've did 3 yrs in prison-420-419 # for dealing drugs-nod to chase, is Scooby while so drunk I kept falling off the bike and had to have people hold me up until I took off. I think more beers, and a +4 extension, and I'll try the pipeline, but without beer-screw the weed, I was addicted to heroin for 5 years+and a without a banshee, I'd be fucked. I know people on here are against drugs, but weed isn't shit. Try quitting heroin, it 's a real bitch. Beer and a banshee is all the adrenaline rush you'll ever need to quit anything but tobacco-yes, I still smoke, but no caffeine like those drunk AA people, damm acolohics. I think the shee is the main reason I laid off the smack, hit her and feel the sweet spot as some guys sig says. Hey, are your intake boots cracked? My banshee came with a boost bottle and I couldn't figure out why one side then the other would be lean. Turned out the bottle vibrated too much and cracked the boots, but you really couldn't tell until they were off the bike and you pushed on the hole.

Try pming nightrider, he knows about some place around Cincy? He had posted up about it last year. Also, I think the pioneer mc hillclimbs are around there somewhere, I hope I can make some this year. If you're into gnarly hillclimbs and miles of trails, you should try to make it to wellsville, it's right across from the horse track on rt 7. It's a 2hr drive from here, and definitely worth it.

I was using it on a stock swingarm with the chain slider so I'm not sure why it doesn't fit. Do you have a aftermarket chain slider?

USPS is the easiest and usually the cheapest, depending on how big of package you're shipping. I've used fedex once to ship to canada, never again. The paperwork was a pain in the butt and I was getting bills a month later for the import taxes since the guy I shipped to deferred them back to me. On the other hand, I shipped some v-force reeds to portugal today and it was only $7, took 5 min., and they'll be there in 4-6 days. How much is it? Are you willing to trust your life to a possibly tweaked bike at 150+? Salvage titles hurt the resale value on a rocket somewhat, but not nearly as bad as a car. Do you have a bike shop around that can laser align it to see if the frame is tweaked or if the forks are bent or the rims are bent? Did you see this R1 for 4500 in Cleveland? Good luck with it, if you get bored with it stick the motor in a banshee frame. Also, you could buy a Erion edition cbr from the dealer with a title so it shouldn't be salvage unless it was wrecked.

I need a roundhousing carrier iwith brake bracket for a banshee . I have a new in the package LSR locknut, stock swinger and carrier, stock carbs, ITP .190 front rims(for honda), ac stadium bumper, or various other banshee parts to trade for a carrier.
