  1. Sorry, I thought you still had 2 carbs. Are the rubbers good on the aluminum intake? I had hell getting mine to seal when I switched to a 2-1(got tired of jetting 2) and a even worse time getting the v-force 2s to seal up because of the hose in the way. If you can still start it now, spray some wd or carb cleaner around the intake to see if the engine note changes and remember what spot you were spraying to try and see what's leaking. Also, are your reeds still good?
  2. Hey, it sounds kind of stupid, but did you examine the top of your intake boots where the crossover tube goes. Mine was cracked, but I couldn't tell until I pushed on the hole and then saw a hairline crack. Unfortunately, I had already burned a hole in the piston and scratched the crap out of the cylinder, which I had to go from stock bore to .50 over to fix. At least it was a excuse to get the jugs ported. Good luck finding your problem. Also, that was the same symptoms mine had, wouldn't stay running at idle, had to choke it when it was hot to get it to start.
  3. Hey, 2twin350s, do you ride with the wayne county atv club or omr? Both clubs ride in wellsville a lot. WCATVC is also planning a trip to hatfield mccoy in sept. A couple of us ride banshees and most of the members are on sport quads of some type. My banshee is pretty much set up for wellsville and climbing hills as the +2s suck at elsons or crows. Somebody on here from Ohio was talking about Oak Hill? but I haven't made it out there yet. Do you run mud machines or some other type of tire?
  4. Hey, if you're in the akron area, check out the Saturday beacon journal under the high 5 ads. Everything in that section is 400 or under. There are always at least 2 or 3 dirtbikes, 3-wheelers and quads in there.
  5. Yeah, I'm cool on that. I already have a built banshee and bought the 400 for a backup, but I found a guy that'll trade me a built rx7 turbo for my shee and was looking for another one. That's the only thing not done to mine, suspension, and it beats the crap out of me on the trails.
  6. If it has aftermarket suspension(elka, pep), I'll trade you a 04 400 ex for it.
  7. Yeah, I didn't want to spend a 100 bucks to replace both sides. I thought about replacing the one set but wasn't sure if it would make one cylinder run different than the other, having new reeds on one side and used ones that appear to be fine on the other.
  8. Hey, I need 1 good reed petal for v-force 2 reeds. I bought a used set and when I got them, one of the petals is chipped. The rest of them seem tight with no chips so I really only need one petal, unless you have a set you'll sell cheap. Let me know and thanks in advance.
  9. Chapmanmd is a great seller. He sold me some parts cheap as hell and in great condition. He shipped the same day, and they were here 2 days later. Thanks and I'd definitely buy more stuff from him. I only wish more ebay sellers were like him.
  10. Try sportbikes.net. If you can find it, subscribe to their streaming videos.
  11. Blendz-all castor bean oil with 110 cam 2 smells the best IMO.
  12. Hey, that sounds cool. One thing, we drink like fish so I wouldn't want to offend you. This is usually how I ride all day which tends to make those hills look a little more doable. Most people I've rode with don't care or drink themselves, but in the past some people I've rode with have seemed to think that riding doesn't mix well with beer. Anyways, let me know one way or another.
  13. Actually, I don't. My banshee has been keeping me broke for while. When you cross the tracks, look for a green toyota full size with a smushed front end and a black s10 with a black chow chained to it. If you know what time you'll be there on Saturday, I could meet you somewhere.
  14. So are there places to camp there? It'd be worth the drive if I could stay for a couple of days.
  15. Well, as long as you camp across the tracks, its free. The forbidden zone charges 12 on the weekend per person or 5 a night and the road to get up there is a real pain in the ass. If you don't want to pay, you'd take 39 into wellsville and turn right at the stop sign and then follow that road down to a bridge/ramp. There is a road to the left at the bottom of the bridge that you turn down next to a factory. If you follow that road down to right before the trailer park, then you would turn right at the fork and go over the tracks and follow the dirt road around the corner where you'll see all kinds of flat spots and fire pits. Find a empty one and set up camp. I've seen lots of younger kids riding all kinds of atvs and dirtbikes and as long as you're on a main trail its not too bad. Do you live around Wadsworth? There is a place called the brickyard out by rittman that has a bowl, all kinds of trails and hills, and some huge sawdust piles. Its private property, but the cops don't mess with you as long as you don't go down the rail road tracks to the other set of trails by barberton.
  16. Hey, its pretty steep this year. There is a 4 ft ledge a quarter up and another boulder ledge in the middle of the corner. There are some pics of chicken coop at the wayne county atv club website and a few of half hour hill. If you need directions, let me know as we're going down thursday night to make sure we get a campsite.
  17. Hey, me and my buddy are going down this weekend for memorial day. I rode there last weekend with the wayne county atv club. We usually camp past the tracks or up in the forbidden zone. My buddy went up the pipeline on his blaster last weekend, but he has a extended swingarm and needed every bit of the +8 to get up it. I haven't seen a Banshee hit it this year, and I'm still trying to get mine finished. Between the 2 of us, we know pretty much know the whole place except how to get down the lime piles to the 80 ft step up so if you want, you're more than welcome to ride with us.
  18. Hey, would you say its better riding then Wellsville? I mapquested it and its like a 4 hr drive from Akron. I was just wondering if there are enough trails to keep it interesting for more than one day or not and is there anywhere to camp? Thanks.
  19. Would you sell just the pipe?
  20. Go to autozone and get a box ofassorted metric bolts for 4 or 5 bucks. Once you find the one that fits, the lid will tell you what size and pitch it is. Most of the non stressed parts on my shee have the same bolts in them and they seem to work pretty well.
  21. The part number for a motion pro cable for thumb with no tors is 01-0813 and is 28.90 from motion pro. Check out their website.
  22. It sounds like the starter solenoid is going bad.
  23. Hey, try mud machines. The only drawback is they are 22x12x10. Look at their website, moto-man.com, or magic racing. I have 22x14x8 on my Banshee and they hook up great.
  24. Look at some mud machines. I put them on the back of my Banshee and my 400ex. They hook up great and wear well. Magic racing and moto-man sell them.
  25. I had the same problem with the used Denton arms I bought. I called them and they told me to drill it out and then use a snap-on brand tapered reamer. I ended up buying the spindles from the same guy I bought the a-arms from. However, my buddy went to Burgard arms and a local shop charged him $40 to drill and ream his spindles.
