  1. just dial star69 its .99cents per call ,thats my phone service though unsure of your area????? doesnt he have caller id ??
  2. ill tell you the scary part is someone actually is gonna pay alot for these jugs in the end ,apparently the porter wasnt real big on the intake velocity theory as he would have like none whatsoever, and look at how the intake windows flow in to the upper transfer, i mean what used to be the upper transfers. holy shit this engine tuner must have had parkinsons diseaes and shaked uncontrollably with a die grinder in his hands it only goes to show if you put ported jugs on fleabay ,theyll sell like hot cakes, regardless if it was ported by captain caveman with a hammer and chisel or not, kids are dumb!
  3. the old 490's have a very small squash band clearance and will grenade topends until you have the head professionally rechambered!!!! just a heads up its a high compression motor stock too!
  4. as dumb as it sounds ,it may have ran a tad too rich and partially fouled a plug/plugs list the jetting
  5. i always felt like the toomeys had a hard punch on the t5 shes ive rode in the past ,not that thats a bad thing butit isnt desirable for the woods. i had pc pipes before rockets and,i really liked the smooth ness of the powerband they offered ,much less violent than t5s but they also didnt feel as powerful either compared to the t5 setup, the rockets are definitly smoother than the toomeys.they have such a wide mid to top pull, i would think most of the uusable power on the STOCK motor and no compression increase would be to high up in the rpm to be a usefull trail or woods pipe.ive tested them on my dynobutt 5000 but in this case id say go with the pc or ptr or maybe dynoport 2-1 my .02
  6. id run the coolhead and spacers for sure ,spacers do work but its alot more noticable on modiifed engines from what ive experianced with them (similar to what ducman stated previously)the boost bottle will boost the manufacturers sales and thats about it,i heard of guys actaully gaining a pony or two by REMOVING the boost bottle on a dyno ,so sell it or give it to the cat to bat around the house
  7. i would think youd be alot better off witha bigger displacement 2 stroke motor ,the 125cc would struggle ina quad frame and have to be consatntly in top rpm to make the power to propel your ass, plus the tranny and clutch are not of the heavy duty variety that will holdup over time on a 125cc motor ,the 250 is a much better candidate ,my .02
  8. seeing how most people that i talked to dont change thier pilots with a restrictive stock exhaust sytem theres a good chance your pilots are to rich ,reread that article and do the choke trick, ths will tell you for sure. i ve had some real headaches with pilots and i swore up and down it was smokey and too rich off the bottom ,even though the choke said its still too lean ,i fuct with the pilots alot till i gave in, and went way rich on the pilots and she loved it ! the choke doesnt lie!
  9. the right side smoking alot isnt cool ,this is sometimes a symptom of a bad crank seal and the burning of tranny oil not saying thats your problem, but it would most likely cause alot of jetting problems among other things
  10. i dont get it for the same price as meir raptor plastic you can get the raptor styled" banshee plastic ,on ebay for under 400$,i just bought the black glossy race stock style and absolutely love the new look besides why would you want to look like a scraptor every bodys got one of those yamaha abortions
  11. going fast isnt cheap ,thats not too bad ,call yamaha ask them what a stock blaster yamaha peg sells for, i bet its like 85$ each.
  12. hows this aride of shame???? sounds like your proud not shameful
  13. do a search theres plenty of info on this subject.in thoery the degree key should not shear because its simply a locator for the time and will stay fine ifseated correct and torqued to the right specs, but thats bullshit ,ive sheared several and know somebody that sheared 6 ,and thats using a very high quality torque ratchet and doing it precisely as described .the keys are crude little lead drippings that are soft and a good jerk coming off the crank will shear em right now ,youll have adjustability with the stock modified one. its a simple mod requireing alittle time and a dremel tool
  14. i would think youd realize the motors true potential by going for rocket pipes and atleast a 28mm keihin d slide bored to a 30mm or 33 pwk d slides .cpi and shearer are also decent pipes check fleabay for carbs ,minkia for rockets
  15. how do you get a 1 armed pollock out of a tree? just wave
  16. my wife will be in iraq in 4 months after her training at camp shelby in mississsippi thanks for the great effort and your undying courage to fight for us ,good luck to you and come home safely
  17. its just a black1/4" fuel hose 2 inches long and fits on inside standing nibs on carbs
  18. for the banshee ,it probbably is shearer pipes. it looks like shearer makes a few variations of pipes in their bashee line . they make a segmented welded together style pipe, and a stamped version like the one pictured from vito co.they look good ,but kinda pricey though the blaster series fatbastards dont look like my blaster shearers at all though, looks like power pros(lrd) side routed pipe .
  19. first off as a journey man toolamker i had to take many classes in metelurgy ,so yeah i know it,yes ive worked with alot more types of steels and exotic materials than a simple machinist often even sees.ive ground it,burnt it on ram EDM,cut it oncnc wire EDMs, cnc vertical milled it ,cnc laser etched, and the list goes on, ive used other pistons and yes im partial to wiseco but not because of the brochure, its because of my personal experiance with them, and yes ive never put eitherof them on a digital balance beam or viewed them under an electron microscope, so what?cast is an imperfect process in comparison, period.and the tops of stock are crude rough castings on every one ive seen ,that will load up with residue and carbon and create hot spots and uneven burning, its inferior ,period. not trying to argue ,this has been my experiance with stock ,im sure theres lotsa guys on here that love them ,thats great, more power to them!
  20. expose this fraud ,i dont want to be ripped next and i can probably speak for everybody and say non of us want to do dealings with theives ,even if its one of our own ,who is this clown???
  21. damn straight bro ,my buddy was caught with 49 small(sprouts) marijuana plants and got 3 years in state prison ,during his sentenicng he sat in on other sentenceings for various crimes ,one of which was a convicted child molestor who got 8 months in the local county jail for raping his 3 yr old granddaughter .Our system is so fuct
  22. wiseco prolites are the shizzel ,most of these aftermarket pistons are hacked up versions and while weighing slightly less, will shatter or crack usually on the intake side due to the larger intake windows being machined bigger.a wiseco forged pro lite is far superior to stock in about every way. they feel lighter in my hands than stock ,they dont have a crude rugged casting on tops that fuck your domes all up especially on .035 squish claerance ,they dont have small painted intakes and basically cast is a crude method of making anything ,its not nearly precise and weights and sizes will vary drastically ,im a tool and die maker so i know about these things and ive seen vitos ruin motors too. stick with whats proven( wiseco ),besides these power pistons are not much of an alternative to a good port job, definitly not 8hp gain stop tricking your motor and getthe real thing ,some porters will do your jugs for 250$ and youll see real world gains too. my.02
