get an agressive port job and youll be walking your buddy on the 450 every time
-
3000 $ for that ? you gotta be kidding ,the motor and frame combo looks sweet, but seat is gay and graphics are also gay . that 135 hp on pump gas would be pretty potent ,that number would be a little more beliveable to me though, if you said on booze

forget about your calculated 20 hp power gain (it doesnt work like that) vitos pistons wear more and break skirts sooner than stock or prolights ,itll rev a tad quicker and you may notice a bit more giddyup but dont expect a 8 hp gain, hell iwouldnt expect a 4 hp gain, vitos pistons are shorter and lighter but will not hold up like standard wiseco prolites, and are prone to dropping skirts .i wouldnt be trying them if it were me ,they rely on the principle of tricking your jugs into thinking there ported and theres no replacement for the real thing ,get a eric gorr port if you want to save some money and youll have your + 20hp gain for cheap besides cpi need a ported engine to really come alive anyways.

im not going to list the prices speed 150 has cut me ,but i can tell you from ordering from him that he will cut you some killer deals and will beat every billet co. period ,,even better than his advertised prices im not sure how the co. can make one penny off the stuff they sell but youd shit if you say what i got for how much i paid ,id atleast give him an email and ask for price if your serious about a product he sells ,im buying a stator cover and gas cap from him next week and i will be completely blinged out ,his stuff is atleast as good as cascade and 1/3 of the price.youll be very happy with thier procucts

its 20%bean and it rocks 40-1 Klotz supertechnaplate smells dry and sweet ,just a quick whiff off my rockets gives me the munchies

question about changing premix oil?
rocketboy replied to trail rider's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
i cant belive you guys like that cheap yamagarbage ,yuk ive noticed a huge improvemnet in the way my bike runs by switching to Klotz supertechnaplate and i run 40-1 ratio ,and it never dissapoints especially at rebuild time when it looks like new in my jugs. technaplate is the shizznit. it has 20% benol castor and is 80% synthetic ,R50 is pure synetic and is much thicker and best for winter riding because the castor technaplate will seperate in extreme cold temps(not good) technaplate also smells like the race track its a very sweet dry smell and doesnt" load" up or foul plugs like yamalube has done for me anyway -
im@1500 above sea level (see sig for mods) my shel ikes my settings alot, so im sticking with it for now till i get her on a dyno or etg

toomeys seem to me like midrange pipes. theygive a real mid punch ,personally i like pc for woods riding the have are very solid linear powerspread.
-
ill tell you what the fmf jet kit is : its a set of 280 and 300 mikuni mains and a set of 30 pilots and a skinneier longer set of needles that richen the midrange circuit . the mains and pilots are the equivalent of 17$ and the needles are not much improvement over your stock mikuni needles . the needles make the kit ,but its not gonna produce some awesome power gain over the stock needles if thats what your lookin for.

my pilots are 55 's and mains@150 air screw turned half turn out needle in middle position, perfect jetting for my mods in my area

WHats to big and whats to small? Want some carbs
rocketboy replied to 01bansheefox's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
i have a ported she and this and that(see sig) and i run 30 mm pwk d slides. i love these carbs ,they suck to dial in, but they provide awesome response and you will gain lots of grunt and plenty of topend over stock ,ive thought about 33 pwks, but ive read to many dynos were a guy loses hp throughout entire powerband by going to big of a carb . i noticed a huge increrase through entire rpm with my 30mm pwk and id recommend that unless youve got a stroker than go for a 33 pwk or 35mm airstrykers thats my .02 anyway -
the vito pipes look kinda rocketish ,but there price is 630 $ if there anything like the other vito products than i wouldnt be considering them . i have a shearer inframe for my 04 blaster and they are not in ressembelance to the fat bastard pipes for a blaster,so im thinking these pipes arent shearers .either way vitos charges like 100$ more than rockets and i wouldnt take the chance on a company that has a sketchy reliability record on thier products especially theyre stroker cranks
-
tusk clutches kick ass i run one on my she and its much improved over stock ,the plates are perforated and fibers are much beefier than stock, well worth the money ,get ebc springs for like 6$ too and run 3 stock 3 ebc and youll be rippin ,its about the best deal from rmatv you can get ,i love mine.as far as the carb dilemma ,id be looking at the 33 pwk they are d slides pj are not dslide carbs .the d slide design offers the best all around reponse on modified motors from what ive heard.
-
meat,i cant belive that rz is in such great shape ,that thing oughta be worth alot of jing
-
i d rather ride roseanne than a poor 50r
-
who ever told you that was full of shi* , v force rock on stock carbs as well as any carbs
-
degree keys shear and cause unneeded grief ,mod your stocker ,its easy and adjustable too. degree keys shear very often with a cut flywheel.

am i the only one who thought fear and loathing in las vegas sucked ballz??? that was up there on my list as the dumbest film ive ever seen other than the royal tenenbaums.if that movie is any indication of his life im not going to be sheddng a tear for that whack job ,suicide is the most selfish cowardly act a person can do .its for pussys! real men stick it out through the hard times ,our lives as shitty as they seem at times ,are the greatest gift and should be preserved at all costs .real men dont cower in fear and regret in a corner with a pistol in thier mouth, anyway thats my .02

at first i liked bush and stood behind his reasoning ,but im seeing the lightand realize this guy is a fuc*in idiot ,and i toattly agree about our troops getting screwed while these fat cats in washington are living it up,wheres the accountability ??i know first hand about how messed up the government is, my wife is in iraq and our insurance sucks and for what u.s. offers its vets ,is sickening.as bad as it sounds i dont think we even need to worry about ss when we have nations of millions of people who want to take our life for no reason other than we are americans.at this rate well all be atoms floating in the heavens before we retire.

I got 200's and 25's..What u recommend now?
rocketboy replied to BansheeNigg's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
id guess 27.5 pilots 300 mains needle in middle, do a plug chop then report back -
dont quote me on this ,but i beleive the stock rz exhaust was a bit more bottled up on the american version and thats it
-
theres a huge difference !stock reeds will never flow like a v force will ,but you can modify your stock cages and run carbon reeds and realize some power gain ,i have yet to test an intake that compares to v force 2 and ive tried every one except g3'sand from what i hear they suck .
-
15 front sprocket may be a bit tall for your hp ,but i guess it also will depend on the kind of riding you do.you 'll likely be making 10 more rwhp, so its gonna be night and day different ,and then youll realize how restricted the stock exhaust is on a she .after you have your fun, get her ported and polished and youll really be amazed at your power increase!

runnin 320 mikuni mains switchen to
rocketboy replied to 1sreamin350's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
i did this same switch went to a 150 main with 55 pilots and air screw turned all the way in ,runs like a dream in my elevation . 180 seems so rich to me thats huge for 28/30mm but if she rips cant argue with that!! these carbs are so damn finniky ,alot of guys on here have suffered trying to jet them ,yet there labeled as being one of the eaisest carbs to jet ,stock is easy! these require some real fine tuning, especially the pilots and needle clip adjustment atleast in my case. -
running better with 25's then 27.5's (pilots)
rocketboy replied to Otis's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
speaking of pilot jetting i dont know why these companys push the 30 pilots so much seems alot the aftermarket jet co. and engine builders all recommend the 30 pilots ,ive jetted lots of freinds shes and my own as well and ive never personally seen where a she runs any better. 27.5 or stock seems to be plenty of fuel /air in the slow circuit on stock carbs.
