    WANTING

want airbox adapter for 2 into carb so I can run an airbox..............anybody?
  9. hows about the front spindles ? Price?
  10. I run a graydon 2 into 1 with a 35mm pwk I went from using the stock carbs. I can say that from my experience that the dual carbs got better gas mileage for me but the 2 into 1 has way better response it's easier to tune and gives it that extra oomph that my banshee needed..............

  12. man I had an 89 lt250r before I got my shee thats the year with the power valve on it... i have to say that bike ran really good no probs out of it ever. then I got my banshee and from there I was hooked, I traded the suzuki for a beach cart.........
  13. the 33 mm is not as big, I havn't personally ran one but I'd say the main is going to need to be bigger along with the pilot..goodluck Josh
  14. start with a 150 main and a 40-45 pilot that should set you pretty close. Also the jets out of a cr250 will work also if you have any friends with 1 that has extra jets....
  15. lookup (bigred350x) the "how to" is in his sig. Also not trying to knock you or anything but why Vito's piston? for a lot less you can get a better and cheaper piston "my opinion" (Wiseco's). The reed spacers are a waste unless you have bigger carbs they are not a performance mod along with that is the boost bottle is does nothing of the sort just takes up space and causes air leaks. the whole top of you piston is black is because you have been running rich. Hate to say this but there is no way you will be hitting a 330 at sealevel without some good portwork. stock bike with pipes and k&ns with +4 will be like 270-290 on the main 27.5 pilot and clip in middle hope this helps Josh
  16. they no longer make the graydon intake, its a better style than the trinity. the longer tubes give the fuel more time to atomize and that lets the cylinders burn the gas easier not to mention the cleanup job it does around the motor. You can usually find them on ebay from time to time but I have seen a couple go on here in the last couple of months they shoould run you somewhere between $150 to $300 just depends on where you find it. I got lucky and traded a set of 35mm pwks for mine and there is noway I would ever get rid of this intake. Josh
  17. haha he said "4 poke" I'm a firm believer of the banshee and a 2 stroke sniffin mo fo I built my motor for bottom. tight trails, creeks, hills ect ect. the pt mids, with 2 into 1 carb, v force 3's,nosshead,+4 timing and a lightened flywheel will give you alot of bottom but the biggest increase is going to come from the port work you have to go along with these mods. I lug through the woods in 3rd and can usually climb any hill around in 3rd with the light flywhell just a quick tap of the clutch and your already in the band. Josh
  18. A 300 main seems rich to me I'm basically at sea level and I ran a 310 in the stock carbs with the motor in my sig gas mixed 40;1 klotz before that i had fatties and almost exact same mods as you and was at 280 main stock pilots needle 1 down from middle airscrew 2 turns out. What size pilot do you have in there? it jus sounds like your carbs are out of whack nothing big time. I'd say maybe run a 290 needle in middle clip with stock pilot or 27.5 airscrew 2 turns out try that and let us know. Josh
  19. I run the graydon style intake with a 35mm pwk other stuff is in my sig. I started out with dual 35mm pwks and traded them for the 2 into 1. after the duals i went back to stocker them from stockers to the 2 into 1. with the graydon intake I have way more bottom than with stock carbs and way more top than with stock carbs and more bottom than with duals......You getting all this? I ride extremely tight trails here in wv and most of the guys I ride with are on bikes nowadays, so you can imagine the terrain we travel. All I'm saying is there is no way in hell I would ever go back to duals for the type of riding I do not to mention how easy it is to dial it in now. really tight trails mixed with alot of hills equals 2 into 1 (for me) but I'm a guy that runs a twist throttle also :baseball_w00t:
  20. The tusk clutches have been great for 1 I would recommend them anyday..its funny that I'm a rookie and I've been here longer than you! Ijust don't blab off at the mouth all the time and no when you order tusk clutches they come with HD EBC springs in a seperate case. I've ran barnett and EBC clutches as well and have fried them both in less than a year the tusk clutches are on a year now and havn't slipped once. Also I'm stating my experience with the pressure plate bolts with my hinson basket they were too tight and it yank the cable out of the puller everytime you squeezed the clutch took it back apart loosen the springs worked perfect everytime! then again I dont have the factory bolts in it. So until you can come here take my banshee apart and put it back together don't act like you know everything about everything and if you lash out at me I'll fire right back. but I'm not here for that I'm here to get a little and give a little.............
  21. Well, lets see 1st off i said nothing about putting the fucking king kong grip on the bolts I said over tighten them ,2nd I run tusk clutches and the plates do have the tabs. maybe the reason i cant tell a difference in the clutch pull is because im not an over egoed crying ass fucking pussy that always has to be right about everything. every post your like this and its ashame..no need for it. :shoothead:
  22. You say the guy put in a new clutch? I know from experience that you can tighten the clutch spring bolts up too tight and it will make the clutch hard to pull....Also if the plates are not aligned properly around the clutch basket it will also give you problems likes this. I run EBS HD springs in my banshee and couldn't even tell the difference between stock and HD. just my .02 Josh
