  1. Pilot jets could be dirty, or the air mixture screws could be out of adjustment.
  2. There is a washer, with a lock tab, that goes behind the nut. Get a new one, torque the nut to spec, and bend the tab up against the nut. Should hold it.
  3. The screens inside the fuel tank could be in need of a good cleaning. Drain the gas, remove the petcock, clean both screens, and replace everything.
  4. I know this is an old thread, but this may help someone in the future. Rogue Remover Free It will remove any that are on your computer, and best of all, it's free.
  5. Sounds like you have a bent tab, on the upper left a-arm. I've bent several of them, and the best way to fix them, is to replace the arm.
  6. Put the stock flat washers back inside the dust cups. I'm just guessing, but the reason that Pivot Works doesn't put the flat washers in their kits, is because they usually don't wear out.
  7. I got a billet stator cover from another company, and I just used silicon to seal it to the case. It's been on for 2+ years, and is still sealed.
  8. It's no big deal. That's what makes this a great site. People helping one another.
  9. Yes. Your best bet is to use the 795 series Wiseco pistons, for the added rod length, and have domes cut for the 4mm crank.
  10. Someone should ask the seller what color the "powerband" is? Pink, green, checkered......... That would probably make for one interesting answer. LOL
  11. Worn sprockets will cause the chain to jump teeth. If the teeth are hooked, you need to replace the sprockets, and probably the chain. If you are getting quite a bit of sand in the chain, and rear sprocket, it can also cause the chain to jump teeth. If the teeth are hooked, you can take the sprockets off, and turn them around to get by for a bit, but sprockets are pretty cheap.
  12. The first time I removed mine, I had to have the wife sit on the seat, and hold down on the rear brake lever. It still took a lot of effort to get the axle nuts loose. The thread goop that Yamaha used is some nasty shit.
  13. If you are standing at the rear, you will need to push up on the wrench to loosen the axle nuts. It's the old, "righty tighty, lefty losey" method.
  14. I never had any luck with Windows Defender, but Comodo BOClean is a freebie that works great at keeping trojans at bay.Download for BOClean It runs in the background, and if it detects anything, you will get a pop-up asking what you want to do with the trojan, worm, or whatever the bad crap is.
  15. Don't forget to add a good antispyware program, like CounterSpy, or SpySweeper. Counterspy is free for 15 days, then you have to pay. The first year is $20, and every year after that, is only $10. You can find it here. Download Counterspy here
  16. Those "pipes" look like the ass end of a hard time. Since the pipes look that bad, just imagine what the rest of it looks like?????
  17. Where the clutch friction plates soaked in oil, before they were installed, or were they installed dry? If they weren't soaked, there's your problem.
  18. Little Johnny's father asked him, "Do you know about the birds and the bees?" "I don't want to know!" little Johnny said, bursting into tears. Confused, the father asked little Johnny what was wrong. "Oh dad," Little Johnny sobbed, "At age six I got the 'there's no Santa' speech. At age seven I got the 'there's no Easter bunny' speech. Then at age 8 you hit me with the 'there's no tooth fairy' speech! If you're going to tell me now that grown-ups don't really fuck, I've got nothing left to live for!"
  19. There were about 10-12 of us racing on that same strip at LS, when a whole string of people drove right across the middle of the strip. It looked like a family group, and I was out front, so I got everyone else to slow down. Yeah, it really sucks when people don't pay attention to what's going on around them, because someone can get hurt, or even worse, besides tearing up somebody else's stuff. Some people are just naturally stupid, I guess.
  20. Retards huh? Seems you have it backwards. Making an exhaust louder, just gives the non-ATVing crowd something else to bitch about. With all the restrictions a lot of the riding areas have now, as far as sound limits, and riding areas being closed down for numerous reasons. Then you are take packing out of your silencers, to make it ridiculously loud??? Not a smart move. Actually, it's very stupid. I guess some people can't seem to figure out, that their irresponsible actions affect others, in negative ways.
  21. When I made that same switch, I had to go down a couple of sizes on the pilot, and up on the main a couple of sizes. I can't remember exactly, because it's been a while.
  22. Affect what power? I don't have any idea whether, or not, you can buy 35W bulbs for those lights. That's a question for whoever sold them to you.
  23. If you still have the stock stator, and you run the 50W lights, the lights will be very dim, and the bulbs will probably burn out very fast, and you can possibly burn up your stator. The stock stator can only handle two 35W lights. You need to get a higher watt stator, if you want to run them.
  24. If you get the 35mm carbs, you will have to get a new intake, and clamp-on filters.
  25. If you still have the stock silencers on it, there isn't any packing in them. They only have an end cap, and you can remove them, but it won't do much for it.
