  1. How is the spherical end of the heim placed in there? Can you replace it once it gets worn very easy? Just curious. They look trick!!
  2. I hope some of you guys have 6 pack racks, in case I get thirsty.
  3. I'm thinking about sleeping arangements cause I can't be too far away from the shee. Maybe a big tent and pull it inside.
  4. 10 days and a few hours.
  5. Cool place, I go there 2 to 3 times a year. Talimena drive mainly. A sportbike heaven.
  6. Did you say stainless? Let me know when your first set rolls off the line.
  7. Happy Birthday Stephen, no under age drinking at the BHQ ride!!
  8. Yea you need to do a compression check Travis. I'm sure your not running near as much compression as everyone thinks because your exhaust port height has probably been increased signigicantly. This decreases compression and you have to run smaller domes to compensate. Just a thought.
  9. Nope, If I did desert racing of some sort I would.
  10. This one? So Cal Fab thread
  11. First class product, first class people no doubt.
  12. What if the someone catches your fist with the paper, then what?
  13. I doubt you could make a standard, too many variables between engines, timing, heat, loads, elevation, ambient temps etc... I think a general rule of thumb is anything above 160 compression requires at least a 50/50 mix and above 165 is straight race gas. I use 110 octane to definitely play it safe. I know there is ways to test what octane an engine requires but I believe it's engine and modification specific as well as other variables to make it somewhat accurate.
  14. There is tons of those issue's with aftermarket parts. I guess it's just how creative we can be overcoming them. Anyway give me the scoop when you get it together.
  15. Drop your mains down one size.
  16. No real benefit to a boost bottle at least from what I've seen, I would probably save your money. You will need intakes that accept the v-force reeds. Not sure about Trinity but the pro-design you do.
  17. Definitely sounds like a head gasket. Also do you notice any excess moisture or steam coming from pipes? Radiator fluid smell like gas or exhaust? Either one or both of those your headgasket is blown.
  18. If the link isn't at the top of the page it's modquad.com.
  19. Yea, that should improve cooling. WTF?
  20. Banshee hands down. Has been and won in about every type of race venue imagineable. I don't know of any other quad that can say that.
  21. Chuck, contact Ron (bdbanshee) and have him send you some pics of his mod he did to allow room for the filters. Really trick, he took metal tubing and ran it back further beyond the stingers, was an awesome idea. Another option is to run the cone/tapered K&N filter as well. If you get a chance, measure the distance between stingers, you should have 6 1/2 inches, if not, your defintely going to run into some fitment issue's. Yes I swear they are twice as hard as stock jugs. You definitely need a pipe spring puller, 2 hands and some hellacious upper body strength. A big thanks to my wife for taking care of that for me.
  22. Tempting is it? Man I don't think I would want to ride a liter engine in a quad frame. Too skeered. Can't hardly control them on the street.
  23. And you never asked!!
  24. Champ, what's your pilot at? You running open filters? Tyler your running a leaner pilot than I am and I really could go up a size on it cause I'm just a half turn out from seated on the air screw. The differences are interesting.
