1. Yea contact the BBB, they keep a record of bad business reports for consumers to review. The company will also receive the complaint.
2. Seen this question flying around lately, I wasn't for sure and have seen answers both ways. Contacted Rciky Stator and they said not a problem using higher rated bulbs than the wattage output of the stator. They said it will not cause any damage just your light output will be yellow.
3. Not as detailed out as you would expect for that price. Though a nice looking banshee.
4. Wonder if this things very fast.
5. Boon elaborate on that if you can. I am under the impression that whether you use two 35 watt bulbs or two 100 watt bulbs your stator puts out exactly the same amount of power either way. The stators power output is not governed by what its plugged in to is it? Meaning it will have to increase ouput power to burn itself up. So in order to burn itself up the stator must increase its power beyond its rating? The stator is self limited by design is it not? Is it like a cars alternator, I know exceeding the limits of an alternator will not burn it up but I'm just trying to figure this out. Someone help me.
6. I use a strap wrench with a 22" long strap and 3/4'' wide and it just fits. So if your using a 6'' strap it will be way short.
7. Man those things run like big bore crotch rockets. That prolly got NYUK fired up.
8. V-FORCE 286797
9. Try the Sidewinder Ti-Moly rear with tool steel front. Pricey but will last. I wore my stock sprockets out after just a few trips. Still on the Sidewinders with no visible wear after a full summer at the dunes.
10. Harmonics is basically a pipe characteristic that needs matched by the porting or better match the pipe to port characteristics. For example increasing port timing by opening the top of the exhaust port. This is for higher rpm power. The exhaust gasses are released sooner on the downward stroke into the pipe, and the window will be open longer during the upward stroke. The exhaust (harmonics) need to be tuned to this port timing, at whatever degree it may be, so that the resultant suction of the piston and the returning gas/exhaust mixture will work collaberatively. The harmonics of the pipe will help force this additional mixture back into the cylinder and increase it's loading pressure when the port is open. Some pipes can bring the wave to early or too late depending on the porting. Thats why it's soooo important to have the correct pipe for your porting. If your porter doesn't know the characteristics of your pipe, you better buy one that he does. This is not even touching the jist of porting by any means. The transfers alone would be a book of itself.
11. Yea, everything went together real well. No issues using the stock shock and it will take pretty good jumps. I weigh around 190, prolly 200 now after thanksgiving. I've been debating a revalve or an aftermarket unit but I see no need at this time.
12. No, those are fine with pump gas. You can go to a 21cc at sea level and stay on the pump.
13. Man those juggs are smokin. Literally.
14. what let me down with passion? the talk? for your information i ran his shit ass cylinders. they turned out to not be worth a fuck. like i said before whats it to you if i wouldnt run trinity porting or whatever? its a fuckin opinion like i said before, get over it because everyone has an opinion. 286668 It's ok man, don't bust a coronary. My point is that it's not good to base your opinion on " what I've heard". Give us your opinion based on experience, such as your experience with passion. If you had Trinity and didn't like them, then hay your opinion has some merrit.
15. Can you, or anyone, explain how a porting job can cause a dead spot in the RPM range that cannot be cured with proper jetting? I am not trying to be a smart ass, I honestly would like to know the mechanics of this phenomenon. What is happening? The engine has the right air fuel mix from low RPM to, say 6000 RPM and then the mix is not right and the engine drops off, then at, say 7000 RPM, it gets the right mix again and revs on out. Are you saying that this
16. I like 100's of groups, but I can't live without PINK FLOYD Did I mention I like PINK FLOYD!!!!
17. So basically you believe the talk. It let you down with passion, and now your going to believe it about Trinity? Some people must learn the hard way.
18. The top of the piston passes the top of exhaust port at a certain degree of crank rotation. Compression will not change this.
19. That statement is absolutely correct!! Most people think dips in the powerband can be corrected with jetting. This is not always the case. 286347 True, true, I got mine out w/ my stroke w/ a different head shape and higher compression...worked nicely for me...of course, higher compression alone will change port timing. 286588 I was aware that port timing can change compression but didn't realize it could be the other way around. Maybe that's what you meant.
20. How is something over rated if you've never heard anything good about them?
21. You have good taste in compressors by the way.
22. I use a vertical 30 gallon 6hp craftsman. They are relatively portable for their size and will run almost anything. Check the specs. LINK
23. It could be your compression, those numbers are a little low. Looks like around a 10 to 12% drop in compression which will drop your low to mid power by 10% so you could be feeling a 4 to 5hp loss in that range, this will not be as evident at higher rpm such as you are experiencing. I'm unsure of your elevation with these numbers and your quads state of tune prior to these symptoms which it's always good to have a basleline to look at. Make sure to take initial compression readings so you have something for a comparison for later reference.
