  1. I ran the FMF Fatties for 5 years, they have the broadest power spread of any piped banshee i've ridden. Only complaint I had was the fatties finish wasn't up to par as some other brands. They tend to rust real easy. I changed pipes to match my porting otherwise the fatties would be my 1st choice.
  2. That statement is absolutely correct!! Most people think dips in the powerband can be corrected with jetting. This is not always the case.
  3. The trick to getting them right is to get a spray bottle and mist water on the fenders and graphics. They will slip a little to get them placed and centered correctly. Use a plastic hand spatula/bondo mixer or a squeegee to get the excess water and air from under the graphics. Use a heat gun to speed drying time.
  4. Thanks for the info, I'll keep close tabs on them, I worked in that unit there for 3 years so my old co-workers will be taking good care of them. They are without a doubt getting the best care available.
  5. No, they are totally flexible. I'm sure they would need replacing every so often, not sure of the durability as yet but they should last a few seasons. Mine will be here soon.
  6. I run the Trailtech with 75 watt bulbs, 200 watt Ricky Stator and and their modified flywheel with stronger magnets. The flywheel allows for brighter light at lower rpm's versus staying on the revs. Amazing system, well pleased with the output.
  7. Maybe it did a buck 20. Only mod he really needed was a rope.
  8. DG baja and PRM are the only two I would consider. Check rageperformance.com and rockymountainatvmc.com.
  9. Well I guess if your a paraplegic, life is not over and it's very practical to ride a quad than a motorcycle. So if this was my case, yes slap on the electric start, were going to the dunes and pray I don't fall off.
  10. This monitor coming out of his head by the sound of it is an intracranial pressure monitor. It's inserted through a bolt placed through the bone itself. It monitors fluctuations in brain swelling and allows excess cererbral spinal fluid to be drained off as swelling increases. I've taken care of these types of pateints for many years and a serious matter no doubt. Just keep us posted, we'll keep them in our prayers and let me know what hospital they are at. I would assume he should of been medi-flighted to OKC to OU med center since they are a level 1 trauma center. Brad
  11. Jannsen makes a nice set with everything shown for 1799.00, I'm sure others like Quicksand and LSR make some great sets too.
  12. 7 ft-lbs for the spring bolts 65 ft-lbs for the clutch center nut.
  13. Don't hesitate sending your stuff to Trinity. They are the most experienced Banshee porters in the U.S. and you won't be guessing on how to tune your motor regardless of the mods you have. I know I've been there. Just most of the nay sayers haven't.
  14. Looks like you have the right idea on mod selection. They all look great. I would buy all the stuff that requires rejetting at once such as the FMF fattys, K&N, v-force reeds and the single carb ( finances permitting). This will save you time from jetting after each mod. Then I would look at the cool head option with around 20cc domes, no smaller unless you don't mind running race gas (pricey), and some timing advance like an adjustable timing plate. If you do all your riding at 3 to 6k elevations you should be fine with 19cc domes. As for the Lightened flywheel mod, this is great for duning, not so great for dirt allowing a more prominent powerband kick which can cause you to loose traction. A smoother powerband is what you want for MX and trail riding. I would stick with the stock gearing till you get a feel of the mods.
  15. Well if you get off with just chocolate you will be lucky. My bundle of joy cost me what the misses considered her bundle of joy. Believe me, hers cost way more.
  16. Also, I think you can use your stock brake line but if you go aftermarket get a +2'' line cause the +4" is just too long.
  17. Yea I think I took off 4 to 5 links and the master link clip is a pain in the ass to get on.
  18. Finally glad someone can appreciate the blood, sweat and tears I've put into these modicications. Let alone the tremendous amount of expense involved. I also appreciate the input on the latest breakthrough/offerings in duct tape technology. This is sure to appease they eye as well as improve the frames resistance to bending/breaking. PS: Thanks for noticing and look for updates as I will be getting the bailing wire triple show chrome plated. This should look way trick!!! You guys are too fun.
  19. They do offer boots for heim joints now. They are pretty trick looking.
  20. I believe Passion sells them, check their web site.
  21. 23cc/ml is correct.
  22. What about torque results? HP is so over rated, ya know what they say, HP sellls engines, torque wins races.
  23. I myself also.
  24. An electric start on a Banshee is like puting a winch on your lawnmower. No point!!
