  1. Perceptions change with time and experience. We're happy one minute and dissatisfied the next. We've all been there done that. Such is life.
  2. I have the Trinity's and yes they offer a 30 day money back guarantee which they don't hesistate to tell you about. The Trinity's are an absolute work of art no doubt. They have the best fit and detailed finish of any pipe out there. But for 700 bones they should. They are easy to install, double o-ring sealed everywhere, SS allen head bolts for mounting. No pipe clamps needed though toomey I think offers this too. Also a plus is the billet rear clamps and end cap (very nicely done). They won't rust or dent as easy since they are stainless. They do weigh more than regular steel but not much. Performance wise, I couldn't give just a difference with the pipe alone. I added porting at the same as well as many other mods. They sound really great and just a tad lower volume than my fmf fatties they replaced. Only complaint I have about them is they need an o-ring between the can and midpipe. Though the fatties performed well, they didn't hold up to moisture at all and I babied these pipes. Kept them clean and always oiled them after a wash, they still rusted. I think toomey has a way better finish than the fatties though and will probably hold up a lot better. I know that if you get the Trinity's, you won't be disappointed. Performance of the two are really close and it really comes down to, if you are willing to pay the price for the SS and finish. Either way you will probably be happy.
  3. Yep had the same damn problem myself. It was a total pain in the azz to line up the hole where the screw goes. I just used a lot of force then went right in. Was not near as easy as you would think. Sheesh some of the things that appear so simple can really piss you off.
  4. OMG I just fell on the floor.
  5. At least you guys give the people you ride with a pretty view, if they can see it through your roost.
  6. I don't know of any stainless axles but that would be killer. I'm sure the price would be double what the market has to offer now though. Main reason I bought SS pipes, no more rust. Though I don't know really how SS compares to some of the metal compounds. It is a stronger metal than most, but how it would perform as an axle I'm unsure. Titanium alloy perhaps? Maybe it's just the price that keeps these from being manufactured.
  7. Ricky's is cast the others are billet. The cast would probably be the way to go and for about half the price.
  8. Which shee? surely it's not the Sundahl framed shee is it. If so that thing cost like 25k to build if you add up all the parts cost. I would say that woud be a killer buy considering the mondo mods it has.
  9. Funny thing is last month issue of ATV rider you will notice in the sand tire review. The trx450 centered in the pic, the front sand tires were on wrong. Angled lip was to the outside. What does that tell you about some of these mags.
  10. And them damn 4 stroke weedeaters. Lawn care will never be the same!!
  11. Congrats Kotin6!!! I was in the Air Force during Desert Storm. Spent 4 yrs at Wright Patt AFB. Was a good tour and don't regret it one bit. Thanks for serving our country!!
  12. Luckily my dad works for a petroleum company so I get all my race gas at cost. It's still freakin high even at cost. I think last time I filled the jug up it was 3 dollars a gallon. I hate to see what the oxygenated fuel is gonna cost.
  13. I also use sunoco purple, though I think I will give their oxygenated fuel a try. They have too many to choose from though so not sure which to go with just yet.
  14. I'm sure either way is an improvement, not real sure of the diif between the two. Hows the swingarm? Got any pics yet?
  15. Thanks for the comments guys. I'll post some pics when all the work is done. PUSH THE THROTTLE, do a search on " the polishing guide " should help though the cover doesn't require much if any sanding once the paint is removed. Like Cudaz said, It's smooth enough already it doesn't require much sanding if any. Only sanding I did was with a scotch brite pad and very little. Just needs to be hit with a cotton wheel and some brown rouge. Sredish, don't forget that chrome can be easily scratched by your boot and possibly the foot brake lever. Aluminum can always be touched up where chrome can't. Chrome does look better, to begin with though. Good luck guys and I'll help in any way I can, just PM me.
  16. How about those diesel 2 stroke powered trains and ships? I'm not kidding of course.
  17. Intake manifold, reeds, foot brake lever, shifter, bolt kit (all nuts and bolts) oh and trailer hitch.
  18. Yep we don't want to imprint criminal behavior on their fragile minds. Like that's going to help.
  19. I could probably do it for around 80 and you pay the shipping. Looks like we are close so that shouldn't be too bad. It does take some time though and at least 3-4 days just sitting in some stripper ( paint stripper lol). Heres mine I did a few months back.
  20. Case saver I assume that is what your talking about. It goes right in front of the front sprocket and fits right up next to the case.
  21. I thought these were for the a-arm banshee but didn't read the fine print. The kit is pictured below. 14.00 shipped. Approx 5 1/2'' long.
