I saw that video coverage again this morning on the today show and he is holding his son on his hip opposite the croc and fed the croc food from the other hand. Plus he had multiple handlers around him, the croc would have got him first and he would have had to throw (for lack of a better word) his son clear. Plus the croc had his head raised looking at the meat in Steve's hand, they usually have their heads down low to the ground when they are going to charge and attack. Don't get me wrong its a situation that I wouldn't have put my child in, but then again he also had a passion for what he did like no other, which doesn't always leave room for thinking things through. Plus it got him a lot of publicity for his cause (public awareness)........ :beer:

At least his son and wife have a lot of video, to remember the man by. Thats one thing I wish I had of my relatives instead of the still pictures. Then they will see him how he was and never forget. It is sad and the ray is a docile creature unless they feel threatened and then they bring the tail up. He probably would have only been hurt if the barb would have hit his leg or arm or what ever. People step on sting rays all the time and don't die, but it leaves a nasty hole and poison that stings like you wouldn't believe. But because the barb was so close to the heart, he didn't have a chance............... RIP man, you'll be missed, and thanks for knowledge and entertainment............

I used to go rent the movie, then skim the book for the missing parts. The skimming is for teachers that picked questions from material that was not included in the movie, but was in the book. The Cliffs notes also worked good, but in some books same problem, they don't cover everything.............. :beer:

My question is what are the restrictions, EPA regs, of the restrictions as said above for air flow. BAck then there wasn't too much concern about off road or two stroke smog emmissions. The weight difference could be as little as changing what some components were made out of, and the gearing was different. I thought the motor was the same all through the years, which is why the Banshee had such a long run. The difference is so small I don't think it would be that noticeable unless you rode two of them side by side (one at a time, of course). Tell the guy you want the idiot discount and offer him $300................ :yelrotflmao:

It probably was supposed to be 21 12 8 10's. 10's are a lot of damn paddle, I'd probably be lookin' at 9's or maybe even 8's. I think 9's would be in the middle of the road............ :beer:

Ya, you need to be careful buying crap off of Fleabay, but sometimes thats what you get CRAP......... :: But then sometimes you get a real honest person and get a pretty good deal, so you just need to know how to handle it.
